Well, that's certainly interesting.
I don't know, that looks less "Earn your happy ending after going through much pain" but more of "Love can be painful."
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree. The image isn't bad, but it feels more like Love Hurts.
Or, Love Is Sadistic.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I like it.
OK with the OP suggestion, but it ought to have a caption ("After crossing the knife, they lived happily ever after" or such) to distinguish against Love Hurts.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt would be better off on Love Hurts than this, nothing in the image really shows this trope.
I think it's better here than on Love Hurts. With a caption of some kind.
Check out my fanfiction!I think it would work well enough for the page.
Memers, how exactly would it be better placed there instead of this page?
Clock is set. I can live with it either on this page or Love Hurts.
I think OP is good for the page.
I still don't approve the image.
The way the woman is just standing at the edge, looking inexpensive and not even looking at the man, doesn't really come across as an happy ending to me. If nothing else, it just looks like a man going through hardship to impress a woman who doesn't seem that interested in him, which is just sad.

This trope needs an image. My suggestion —-> This was already the best quality I could get from the internet.
