The numbers are changing by the second up in there at the moment, it's not entirely outside the realm of possibility just yet, really. And with the added paypal figures they probably only really need about half of that right now.

Darn, Boss Mode would've been fun. Still, the funding this game got is very impressive.

Not sure if they're correct but last comments I can find concerning the paypal pledges says they were inbetween $180-200,000 as of the last update, if that's true they only need to reach about 5.3 mill to hit the boss revenge goal.

We did it. We actually did it. But let this not be the end. The more that is raised, the easier it shall be on these poor souls, on whom so much is expected.

At this point, they're anything but poor.

Okay, since they confirmed both that they reached the Boss Revenge mode and that Igarashi was going to be a boss...

It'd be cool if Boss Revenge as Gebel allowed you to remake the layout of Notslevania and put your layouts online for people to try.

I was out of town yesterday. I come back and holy crap how did they earn so much money in such a short period of time? This thing really kicked into overdrive during the end of it's startup period.

I absolutely love how they'd put up stretch goals, then they'd be funded, then they'd have to make MORE stretch goals, and so on and so forth.

I find the most successful part of a KS' campaign is at the beginning and at the end.

Anyway, it's been a blast following this campaign with you lot. I guess I'll see in about 2 years after I awaken from cryostasis to play this along with giving myself nanomachine immortality. BYE!

That new character looks an Iga version of Lo S Simon Belmont. Which might not be a bad thing.

August's monthly update has arrived. It contains news of a Bloodstained panel at PAX Prime (including the return of IGAchievements), an update on when surveys are coming (the emails will begin September 15th), some fan art, plugging of the official Bloodstained forums, and the reveal of a mysterious new character known only as Zangetsu.

Maybe he means traditional Japanese? Like, Soma's a very modern looking fellow. and Yoko's also wearing modern clothes. There's not a whole lot about their aesthetic and personalities that needs to be Japanese. They could just as easily be European or American.
