Silver Mask is most likely the kid soldier from before. Those were some mad skills though.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!I was thinking that, but the hair colour's wrong.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."And considering he said something about sixteen years worth of grievances against Andragoras the ages don't seem to match up. Especially since the blonde kid seemed to be about the same age as Arslan who's 15 at this point I think.
They are the same age; they were 11 in the beginning and should both be 14 now.
Question, in the first episode did that seem like a ship tease with the gazing into each others eyes and the holding hand scene? Normally that wouldn't be a question but two prepubescent boys and all. It could be interesting, though.
Hmm. Then it that case it should be someone we haven't been introduced to yet. Considering there has been a precedent for Andragoras exiling one of his generals (Narsus), I assume something similar happened before but unlike Narsus this guy holds a great deal of resentment.
Either that, or this is a matter related to the queen.

Give the God Eater game thread some love!Personally, I suspect Narsus is Arslan's real father, so I don't know how much he says about Andragoras treated his generals.
Though considering how he bit Daryun's head off for daring to suggest not charging blindly into an obvious trap...

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."I just love that fight of Daryun against Silver Mask in the OP.
It looks so good.
RIP Shapur, standing up to thinks til the end

I get a bastard son feel from silver mask.
Also does everything get a Warriors game now?
Makes no sense for this series of all things to get a Musou game, because pretty much the only possibly "superhuman" people we've seen so far are Daryun and Silver Mask.

Give the God Eater game thread some love!Maybe Narses, but that would be in strategy (and bad art) rather than actual fighting.
He could probably fell entire armies with his art.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!Erp. Arslan himself being playable in a Musou just feels wrong. One-Man Army is simply not a thing he is by any stretch of the imagination.

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."This is the first anime I've watched in a while that has made me interested from the start.
This series has been pretty good so far. I'm impressed by how fast past this episode was without feeling rushed.
I get the feeling that Arslan is bastard, judging by the way his parents act towards him. They seem quite cold and distant.
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade. From episode 1, I already begin to suspect that the blonde kid that kidnapped Arslan is actually a girl.
So far they haven't really rung any of my crossdresser bells, but it wouldn't be the first one to go undetected despite their accuracy. I think the main thing about the Gender Reveal trope is that the people masquerading as X gender tend to give themselves away to the audience pretty quickly because the author of the story is writing with the knowledge of their true gender, so it bleeds through as foreshadowing, regardless of that character's behaviour.
I'm suppose to be in bed now, but I created the show/novel's character page.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"
How disgraceful that so far we don't have a thread (that I know off) to discuss how our glorious Parsian army was defeated on the field of battle by the cowardly ploy of the fanatical Lucitanians and the disgraceful betrayal of one of our greatest generals.
Daryun makes it all better though, saving the Prince and generally being awesome in how carries himself in battle. Though noooooo swordmaster old man ;-;
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.
