...Why I never knew Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. was a thing? That sounds ridiculously fun! There even seem to be all the silly Hulks around!

That is sad.
Either way, as pointed out it's not in the MCU, it's part of the universe that Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble are in.

It a mix of Daredevil slowly dismantling his organization, Karen and Ben's investigation, internal strife within his empire, and ultimately Fisk himself.I also like how the final fist fight between him and Daredevil isn't what defeats him. Had any of those things not happened he would have won. Almost every time he faces it personally, he's able to get ahead of any of the first three, but all together it overwhelms him. Sure, it prevented him from escaping justice, but at that point he was already defeated, his plans ruined and his empire dismantled.
Honestly, this is probably the best crime drama I've seen since the Sopranos ended.
I also like the strong contrast between Jack Murdock and Bill Fisk.
Yeah, all the recent Marvel animated stuff is kinda bad.
Ultimate Spider-Man is the worst because it had to fill the shoes of Spectacular Spider-Man, but the rest are probably about as bad if you ignore that.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."The first glances on the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy looks good, though. Perhaps they'll revamp their animated programming, too. Hopefully.
Daredevil gets knocked down but he get's back up again:

Spoiler alert: Daredevil gets back up again.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Ok. I was able to watch it now. Maybe because I did it from my computer instead of my phone.
Anyway......man, that song is surprisingly appropriate.
One Strip! One Strip!Last video I saw with that song that I really liked featured Waspinator of Beast Wars fame. This one was near as funny though.
This was most likely done in jest but

so i've seen like two episodes of this show because i wanted to see what all the hype was about. i don't really have much interest in superhero adaptations but it did well in convincing me there was something to all the acclaim it was getting.
it does a good job of being a DAREDEVIL show by highlighting the character's unique traits through its presentation and directorial style.
- most of the show isn't dark just because of the tone and subject matter, the rooms are often dark because matt doesn't need light. he's blind anyway so it makes no difference.
- there's that one scene where karen is lying to matt and we hear her heartbeat getting louder and louder the same way matt does.
those are just the two big examples that came to mind atm, the show probably has like a billion other things that i either haven't seen yet or just won't notice.
and of course the show is just fairly engaging in most other aspects. pretty much every actor has a convincing performance that lends weight to the character they're playing, and the show's darkness gives it a rawness that isn't common in a lot of superhero adaptations.
i think the moment that really sold me on the show's merits was the end of the second episode. jack murdock decides that he won't throw the match; this is something that i think he does not only for matt, but for himself. Maybe i'm wrong; I don't really know why Jack became a boxer (i've read a little bit of daredevil but not a lot), but i assume it was partly because of the thrill of the ring. not only does he want his son to cheer for his dad just once in his life (and leave him a good amount of money to his name once he grows up), he also wants one last moment to bask in the glory of the ring. there's also the fact that he might consider himself to be a poor father figure and feels that he's better off being raised by someone else anyway.
this all culminates in that final moment where he wins the match, he goes out back to the lockers, and everyone's chanting "MURDOCK MURDOCK MURDOCK MURDOCK". the look on his face and the general direction of the scene says everything, and honestly, it was a pretty good moment of TV.
so yeah, i guess i'm in. idk when i'll be finishing the first season but i'll be following the show from now on once i do.
I think he simply feels like a looser. But in this one moment, he wasn't one. And in the end, he got what he wanted, a son who does study and does better with his life (arguably).
That's kind of a recurring theme...in this show you can die and nevertheless go out as a winner in a sense.
I loved that scene. I also got the feeling that, he wondered if this had to be the last time. If maybe he could get out of this alive, just so he could hear those cheers again.
He went in knowing how it would end, but everyone falters. He still kept going, but I wouldn't totally blame him for wondering what still might happen, and how the future might still play out.
One Strip! One Strip!I love the fact that he won that victory against Crusher Creel. In his Crowning Moment Of Awesome, Murdock's father punched out the Absorbing Man pre-powerset.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Was it pre-powerset? AOS explicitly said the guy turned his fists to metal when he boxed to give himself an unfair advantage.

Ao S never specified when he got his powers (I hope he turns up again, though, his powers are certainly among the more interesting).
I'm guessing it wasn't Loki or magic potions this time around.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. So I just finished the series. I liked Leland Owlsely a lot. He was just so snarky and Genre Savvy
Neither of which are part of the actual MCU. Those are Disney's Marvel Universe. Fairly certain Marvel wants the MCU to be self-contained with titles and properties they have full rights to.
