So! You've signed onto that shitty little RP where we fly starfighters and take part in too much ground action for a starfighter roleplay?

Here's where you get to talk shop! I am also open to questions about the universe, though some of them I'm not going to answer just so you'll be pleasantly surprised when the RP does start.

I may as well also mention here that there will be a co-GM, Fokias the Jester... whenever he manages to come up with a character and toss his signup in. I say "co-GM" because sometimes he's going to take over GM duties for a little while. Don't worry, he's cool.

The Combat Rifle is kept behind the pilot seat of the Red-7.

Also expect Silas to geek out a bit when he starts seeing a bunch of items from fiction.

Who needs to pay for professional repairs when Seth is on the job? Starfighter Mechanic FTW! Sadly, expect him to panic in a combat situation.

Panicing never ends well.

The last thing I need is for Seth to panic and wipe out my squad of Psi-Colonels.

Anyone need some extra power? Have Emily walk over and touch the system that needs power! She can't give too much though, or she'll overcharge the system (probably blowing it up) and then dying. And when Zoltan die, they explode. Fun times.

What does Silas bring? Well he manufactured his own weapons so that helps.

To keep momentum up, after the next character sheet or on Friday or Saturday I'll put the actual RP thread up.

Basically, yes. It's just a fluffy thing I made up on the spot for our merry band of protagonists.

Same with Emily, to be honest, except with "But I just died! And my ship was just dented, lasered, sliced and on fire!"

I think Silas can help manufacture experimental weapons and designs considering he made all his guns and built the laser guns and proton torpedo out of experimental designs.

Getting stuck alone in space makes ya do crazy things.

Silas's ship will be closer to that in design.

The official name of the galaxy we are in is Mascrocosm.

In addition, three languages dominate Macrocosm - Trade (English), Maoyi (Chinese), and Torgovlya (Russian). Bonus points if you figure out what those mean.

Considering what "Mayoi" means, this is a centralized trading hub/port town sort of place, isn't it?

"Mayoi" is Chinese for "Trade", and the same goes for "Torgovlya", though that's Russian instead.

It's more based on the concept of trade languages - there's a ton of languages in Macrocosm (just look at how many we have on Earth right now), but really, it's easier if there's one or two common languages people can speak to get points across.

Are Translator Microbes in effect? I'm assuming not since there's three main languages.

Actually, since English, Chinese and Russian exist, is there a Milky Way Galaxy as well, or did humanity originate in Macrocosm in this universe?

There is a Milky Way galaxy.

Of course, Macrocosm is very far away from it, and there's very little method of contact. Old Earth history and such has a relatively good track record; unfortunately, there is no way to get back to the Milky Way.

Any good way to introduce the Not!Haro?
