It's a glitch. Emails cannot be changed, and accounts can only be deleted if they go inactive. I saw a post on it sometime about a month ago...

There should be. The current system seems to just have a case of bug.

Hello! I have been trying to change the email address associated with my account but problems have arisen. I changed the email address in my settings but the address listed did not update but now when I try to change it the website tells me that the email address is already in use.
