Kingdom Hearts: Time After TIME Sign Ups and Interest

Based by and large on my Kingdom Hearts Fanfic A New Epic, though it is radically different enough that you don't need to read it at all.

The Plot: Set after Kingdom Hearts 3D, five years later, it appears that Master Xehanort has gathered a group of villains who are thoroughly in the realm of Outside-Context Villain, to supplement his 13 Seekers plan.

The reality of who these people are and where (and when) they come from is shocking enough for Master Yen Sid to call for Sora, Riku and Kairi, and at the same time, a number of other Keyblade Users, who were called upon due to the crisis.

Your characters come in at this point - called upon after finding themselves with a particularly clingy Key-shaped weapon and brought to train and assist whole new Worlds (to you at least), you function in either teams or just go it literal One-Man Army.

The canon characters will be available for play. There will be a larger plot line, but there will be numerous places for people to go, and in the style of Birth By Sleep, one character may go and do something in one world, while another character or characters may be off in another world doing something else, and come to the world character 1 went to first much later.

I cannot stress it enough that this RP will be highly fluid and adaptive - there is no set in stone game plan. There is a direction, but I am not going to rail road you into following my plans for a world.

With this foreign darkness comes equally foreign light...

I may be interested. Since anime and manga is acceptable, can I play as Revy from Black Lagoon? Or is that too dark for this RP? If so, I understand and I've got other character ideas that I know could work.

Given the kinds of villains who'll be showing their faces, it'd be kind of amusing to see her reaction to the overt magic and such. Its actually not quite so unfitting after all.

Given a recent character of mine, I don't doubt Revy would have an interesting interaction with him.

I'm assuming Final Fantasy and other Squeenix properties are acceptable as well, yes?

Also, just wondering, though I'm probs not gonna do it anyway, could we play as someone without a Keyblade?

I've decided to include a possibility for characters without Keyblades.

• Name: Judai Yuki

• Gender: Male

• Age: 18

• Appearance:This guy◊

• Personal Crux: Judai believes himself to be more trouble than it's worth after a lot of stuff happened, and he'd always have to be the one fixing it. This caused him to give up on his dreams and become a hero, not because he wanted to, but every problem he caused only he seemed to be able to fix.

• Personality: Used to be a funloving hyperactive little ball of joy but after the events with Yubel he became more bitter and doesn't smile often enough anymore. He still knows how to have fun, but it feels more empty now due to his sense of duty. His new bitterness tends to push people away as he doesn't want anyone to get hurt because of him any longer.

• Bio: ((Ahoi, Spoilers for Yugioh GX be ahead.)) Judai arrived in Duel Academia when he was 15 and barely made it through his entrance exam. Being ditzy as he was he ran late and only through the kindness of his to-be principal was he allowed to take the entrance duel, much to everybody's shock however this duel turned out to be against one of the best duelists the school had to offer: Professor Chronos De Medici. It didn't stop Judai, however, as fighting someone stronger than him only sparked his excitement to go to the academy more. During the duel he proved to the entire building he was a natural at Duel monsters, defeating Chronos in one huge turnaround and that's how he got in. Hanging out with friends and shenanigans aside, fastforward a bit to about a year and a terrible event happens on campus. The three Phantom Demon cards were released and it was up to Judai and 6 of his friends to stop the events occurring. It failed in the end with them being released anyway, and Judai was the only one left at that point able to fight against the threat. Naturally he won. Then the 2nd incident happened, where the light of destruction threatened to destroy the world. After an incident where he got depressed due to being unable to see his cards he eventually got the Neo-Spacians and was able to turn the tide. After defeating the light of destruction, however, it wasn't over. Oh no. Another year into the future students from 4 different academies arrived, alongside a professor. This was to encourage all other students in Duel Academia to become better, and after what had seemed to be an innocent experiment by the new professor it had turned out to be sucking out the energy of each and every duelist for the eventual revival of Yubel. In order to stop her Judai and several other had to venture in to the world of Duel Monster spirits. After various events and losing all his friends Judai couldn't take the pressure anymore, snapped, and fell into depression. A hidden persona only known as "The supreme King" took over, causing terror as it reigned the land with an iron fist. Through the combined effort of what little friends were remaining he WAS able to be snapped out of it but at the price of being terrified to fuse his monsters... As that was what the supreme king used to inflict terror. Eventually he was able to come over it, though, and had to borrow not only the supreme king's power but also that of Fusing to fuse with the threat that had been pestering them the entire time; Yubel. After making his and their consciousness one they set out to destroy the light of destruction once and for all, although that story had never been told. This event caused him to disappear from Duel academia, and after this mission was complete he never returned. No, instead he wound up here in this world with the trusty duel disk on his arm having changed. It had a motif of red but where used to be his lifepoints were now a handle, and the slots a blade.

• Keyblade: Judai's standard Academia duel disk morphed itself to fit the world around them, luckily it still functioned like any other disk. It became redder due to his status as Osiris red in the academy, and the circle-shaped round where his lifepoints were displayed moved to the back of the device and opened up. It now acted as the handle while the 5 slots used for playing cards morphed into what looked like handles for a key, but were still the right size for playing cards on.

• Magic:
  • The ability to see and communicate with duel monster spirits. A natural ability he had from birth, he can still talk to his cards and lean on them for support if need be.

  • The Supreme King's power of darkness. Due to his more wicked and powerful persona having never left, he can wield the power of darkness at the cost of becoming more violent. It's only a tool, however, and he greatly dislikes it. Whenever he wields it his eyes turn yellow.

  • Yubel. Ever since merging with Yubel he's been able to repel any form of mindcontrol, illusions and various other powers. Whenever he uses this both his eyes get mismatched, one orange and the other blueish green.

• Realm Of Origin: Yu-Gi-Oh GX! (Anime)

• Other: Through Yubel's power he can also make his monsters real temporarily but this only works for a very short period and inside of duels. His deck consists of various Hero's, Elemental, Neo and Evil.

Just so you guys know, more of Square Enix's properties are going to show up besides Final Fantasy Characters.

Might try doing Harry Dresden or John Constantine.
