Two new episodes have made their way online Dolphinominal and Bark attack. http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/video/magiswords/dolphinominal-episode.html
If my ears are not mistaking, Phil is voiced by Eric Bauza.

Those two are super nice.

I joked that Rob Paulsen should have voiced Phil, judging by how Kyle described Phil's character in both the Dungeons and Dayjobs concept and the Warriors for hire concept. Although. Eric's Puss voice works for the character here. So i'll let that slide.
I wonder if we'll see more of this mysterious hooded women in later episodes. The episodes are getting more expressive. I wonder if Kyle's reading the comments online about this.
I love these two episodes.

Just realized that there's a link to the past reference in Tree Bark. Also Vambre got quite expressive in the third episode.

So.........
Kyle's pretty much the Phil Fish of animation?
Wait, he doesn't know about this website, does he?!
Oh god, I hope not! I never dealt with cyber-temper tantrums!
...Oh. Well, actually, there was that one time I snapped when an Internet critic I used to follow trashed Robots, an animated movie I thought was charming and harmless. But then I realized my mistake and quickly apologized for my rude behavior. So, water under the bridge, am I right?
(Nervous laughter.)
Ahem.
Anyhoo...
For the uninitiated, Phil Fish is the creator of a critically acclaimed indie game called Fez. I'm sure all that praise Fez got is rightfully deserved (I can't really say for sure since I only have a demo of it.), but the reason I bring up Phil Fish is...well...let's just say Mr. Fish takes criticism about as well as Mr. Carrozza here.
EDIT: That's weird. I could've sworn there was a trope for Paranoid Mode or something like that.

Hey, I have been blocked by more famous individuals than Kyle, and I don't blame them. When you are actually making things, and putting effort into them, someone telling you that your work sucks suddenly hurts more than just a playground insult. Additionally, for better of worse, most creators tend to be touchy. Are you a creator yourself?
It's Paranoia Fuel.

My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013Thanks for the help there, friend.
Really though, Kyle being the Phil Fish of animation.
Anyone agree or at least see where I'm going with it?

The worst part (or better part depending on how you take it) is that the guy trying to complain to Kyle REALLY DOESN'T know how to draw, meaning Kyle is actually right! Still doesn't excuse how he takes it.

It all basically sounds like drama.
Unnecessary Drama from some talented hack.
"We be we baby!"Hey guys, I know all this stuff about Kyle's getting scary and everything, but...
I just can't look at these and not smile at them.
Also, I've seen the stuff the guy who wrote that journal entry came up with.
He may have a point about Kyle having issues, but yeeeeah, he ain't exactly the best artist out there.
Maybe we should love the artwork and NOT worry about the artist.
"We be we baby!"The person who wrote that does have a few good things on his page(I do enjoy his Cherri bombshell character she's cute ) but something's aren't right anatomy wise. Perhaps someone on here could teach him a few drawing lessons? I ain't no artist, but I'd help him out if I could.
Still he has a point that Kyle shouldn't have acted like this to him. It kinda reminds me on Alan Moore rejecting anything watchmen realated. Getting back on topic. Anyone want to see a dragons lair inspired game with magiswords?
Care to explain on that laddie?

I have been posting on forums for almost 10 years, and one of the hardest things to do in online socialization, is avoiding drama. Let's see if Tropers have what it takes.
I keep hearing and seeing the harsh and very upsetting things about Kyle and his problem with criticism, but I still love the man's art, especially with Magiswords and his female OCs. Maybe we should just focus on the show more and not care about his problems with criticism.
"We be we baby!"Okay let's avoid drama. Bit of a question. Who's working on the show animation wise? I can imagine some of them are Kyle's friends
You would be half right. One of his friends, Luke Ski, ended up as a storyboard revisionist/assistant because of reasons. They talked about it on the podcast.
So I wasn't far off then. I haven't listened to Kyle and Luke talk about toons in ages to know.
Kyle is no hack. He's been trying to get a show going for years. He worked incredibly hard. the amount of characters of his that never made it past initial designs are staggering. ... he just has a horrible behavior.
He's also good friends with Andrew Dickman, who has been working on similar things for just around the same amount of time and works just as hard. So Kyle has faint connections with Channel Awesome creators too (in hindsight, I had no idea the Luke on his podcast was the same Luke Ski!).

I will admit, Kyle has some pretty cool ideas(I will admit I would have loved to see Go Rama as a cartoon since that was the one that interested me the most). However, it just seems he's one of those guys that has good ideas but doesn't have a good execution. Magiswords is okay, but I wouldn't call it perfect for his cartoon show. A case of Brilliant, but Lazy?

I don't think the execution of this show is his fault only. Remember, he's very capable of animating like a traditional animator. There are many brains that need to work together in one show, and that means come compromises.
The show is not out yet. What we got was a preview. A taste.
