So, I had an idea for a trope page, which I call the Obstructive Pacifist. Basically, this is the exact INVERSE of the Knight Templar. A Knight Templar goes to morally questionable lengths to defeat evil. The Obstructive Pacifist is a theoretically good guy who goes to Stupid Good lengths to act merciful. To the Obstructive Pacifist, anyone who tries to make real progress against evil is a Knight Templar. Conversely, to a Knight Templar, everybody less extreme than they is an Obstructive Pacifist.
