Battleworld [Discussion Thread]

I'm intending to post Tuesday or thereabouts at the latest; sorry for the delay!

I do advise against starting a fight in that room, the odds a kind of stacked there. Also if Kaptain moving toward the portal, the laser turrets would have blocked it off, meaning Spookums is walking into lasers. The turrets are also in to corners of the room and along the walls, which makes trying to get to melee them hard. Also the guys were waiting for the drop of a pin, or "The room waited to pounce the brute for any action but obedience", meaning he doesn't have time to window gaze after making his intention clear. There isn't alot of lee way room I can give you in there except having my guys roll a critical failure. Are you sure you want to go this route?

Chabal do remember we discussed the issue of your guys not starting fights everywhere they go before, and in fact that was one of the primary conditions for me not banning them.

It wasn't my first idea. How far apart are the lasers?

Thing I learned today: The Emperor takes Shoot the Builder seriously. Not only does he devise horrible deaths for the guy (airlocked, dunked in liquid metal, eaten alive, shoved into an engine...), he brings him back, memories of death included.

Anyway. by end of the week I aim to have the Empire make first contact via surrender demands. Then we approach the point of the attacks once replies to them start coming in.

Sorry about that, I burned out pretty abruptly and spectacularly over the weekend, right in the middle of the Kida part, and I completely forgot how to make characters talk to each other. In the interests of keeping this moving before everyone gets slapped in the face by the Emperor’s wrinkly hand, have a truncated version of what I assure you was going to be a masterpiece. ^note  If you consider police/yakuza passive-aggressive sniping the stuff of masterpieces.

Sorry I've been away - life and stomping all over the opposition as the Americans in Civ 5 and Twilight Struggle took over. I'm gonna try to get a set-up post before the ultimatum so that my pawns characters are in position to do...whatever.

Say what you will about the new canon, but at least the 501st are no longer canonically the ones who fought on Endor and got beaten up by Ewoks.

I remember winning that battle in Battlefront 2.

I remember losing that battle, but then again I was playing the 501st. Those Ewoks are broken as hell!

But the 501st will probably fight the Matoran/Toa, who are one step above the Ewoks technology-wise, and lose.
