Yeah, a nation run by zombies seems much more doable. But also kind of pointless. Why not just use the immortality you get by being a zombie to amass wealth and influence over time?

I mean, it's not like being a zombie is that much of an advantage. Sure you can beat most people in a unarmed one on one fight. But once the secret gets out all you have is Mutually Assured Destruction. Which isn't even that useful, since anyone who is a zombie could do it. And it's sort of slow.

I suppose being a zombie is helpful if you're in a position where assassination is an issue though.

Maybe it will be secretly ruled by zombies? To the common people they're just immortal rulers, but every city has a small council of zombies controlling everything.

It's hard to say because what's her name is a bit of a question mark at this point. Would she prefer the overt or covert approach?

It's not about making money it's about taking money.

Why use immortality to slowly amass wealth when you could seize control of a nation and declare yourself godking?

The latter is far more likely to cause a violent uprising.

No one ever accused megalomaniacal dictators of good foresight.

Maybe they're a different type of zombie that can subsist on animal brains, with humans brains just being a delicacy?

Season 3 has been delayed to 2017. Well this stinks. After season 2 I was hoping we'd get a full season again.

Fall 2017?

Mid-season is in March.

Though it could come sooner ifone of the new series fail to get ratings they would need something to replace it.

The thing is, the CW only has two hours of airtime in most markets that they rent from local affiliates, unlike most major networks that can afford to buy affiliates outright. And they renewed everything this year, in addition to picking up more shows, even though they can only program fourteen hours a week. Something was gonna get pushed back to make room.

Eh, I think 20+ episodes is diluting a lot of shows.

I'd be more than happy with say... Legends of tomorrow on in the fall, then iZombie on in the spring. Keep it lean and keen.

Season 3 will premiere on April 4, 2017 it will be two hours; April 11 is when it will be at it's regular time of Tuesday at 9 PM

I always get thrown off by Mc Iver's real accent.

Why so late in the year? If it starts then it probably won't finish till June or July.

The CW doesn't buy TV stations, it rents time on most of them. That means in the majority of markets, the CW can only air its own programming from 8PM to 10PM. So if they have more than fourteen hours worth of programming....well, something's gotta give.

The solution they came to, I guess, was to wait until another show with a shorter run finished airing and then put iZombie on after it.

Time to necro this sucker.

Bump. New season starts tonight. Legends of Tomorrow is in Flash's normal time slot and iZombie is in Legends' normal time slot.

Great season opener-sad amnesiac Blaine is my favorite. Him singing The Supremes is even better than when he sang The Cure.

One of the best things about this show has always been the acting-Mc Iver doesn't get nearly enough credit for her persona-snacking, and the rest of the cast is always strong.

God I want to watch the new episode but I'm still feeling incredibly sore over the season two finale and I'm not sure I actually want the show to continue from there.

I also really hate sad-amnesiac Blaine so if he's still a thing...

I'm a little disappointed, I thought the lady meant she wanted to secretly take over Seattle and make it an evil zombie headquarters, like the start of Daybreakers, not this "zombies are people too we have to protect ourselves" thing that will all boil over until we learn a lesson thing.

This is the CW. You get what you pay for.

But iZombie was suppose to be above that.

Her plan is to "self-segregate" zombies on their own island, though presumably still needing brains from the human population, and achieving peace through well-trained zombie warriors hopped up on a super-soldier energy drink. That has so much potential for things to go wrong.
