I guess. It's just it's gonna be a lot of work.
I remember I only finished the gamecube version of Spiderman 2 (based on the second Tobey Maguire movie) years after on the Wii.
Note that Mirage Sessions FE is downloaded too, so I really gotta take care of it before something else happens to my Wii U.
Does the switch use portable hard-drives? I got one for the Wii U and it might be useful if I can use it for the Switch.
Hmm, I might need a lot of extra space. Maybe I should get some kind of extra memory card or whatever.
One Strip! One Strip! The Switch only accepts Micro SD Cards as additional stoarge, due to its portable nature.
I see. I'll have to pick up one.
This time, I definitely plan on getting mostly hard copies and focusing the extra space on DLC, unlike with the Wii U where I did cave and download some games.
Hopefully, I'll be able to follow through on that plan, but getting a larger SD card is a smart move.
...What's the biggest one it can use?
One Strip! One Strip!2TB
Just another run-of-the-mill guy.

Cool. I'll keep that in mind.
One Strip! One Strip! The turnaround has been pretty impressive. This is what happens when you market something properly

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonThen keep this in mind as well.
Although the Switch can use a 2TB microSD card, to the best of my knowledge, nobody makes one that large at the moment. Highest capacity I've seen is 256GB.
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownNot to mention that 2 TB card would be as expensive as holy balls.
As a side note a New 2/3DS can support up to 32 GB cards. If you really need more storage than no card at all and quick, a 32 GB card can work as a stepping stone. Once you eventually get a bigger one, hand that 32 GB down to the 3DS.
Or you know, check what your phone can handle and apply the same logic there.
You can buy a 400 GB one for $250.
Yeah, no. Prices get stupid once you exceed 200 GB.

Another thing to note is games directly loaded from the Switch's internal storage load fairly quickly while loading games from a game cart takes a few seconds more. Loading from SD cards falls in the middle I believe.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.I see.
I really want to avoid downloading too many games though, and plan to hopefully reserve all the space for DLC. Hence I'm want the biggest card possible to avoid running out of space too soon.
So I'm not too concerned about game load times.
One Strip! One Strip!Well one thing you could do is swap in games that you play frequently to the internal storage if you want faster load times, then move them to the SD card when you're done.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Depending on the games you buy, there will be mandatory downloads like on Vita.
For example, WWE (which you mentioned you might be getting) has a mandatory 24GB download to play the game. Doom had its multiplayer mode separated into a (large) free DLC pack.
So just go for a big card out of the gate and save yourself the trouble.

That's not too poor an idea. If I do it carefully, I can probably avoid running out of space too quickly.
Aren't there some games that take up a lot of space on the Internal storage if downloaded though?
One Strip! One Strip!Yes, there are. Nearly any AAA game not from Nintendo or Sega that's on the platform is very large in terms of download size. There are a handful that just plain don't fit on internal storage.
Meanwhile some games, like Splatoon 2, are rather tiny and may be worth downloading just for convenience.
Worst case, there's the archive option for games you're not playing, deleting the game itself but retaining the Home menu icon and save data. However, if you want to play it again at a later date, you will have to re-download the game first.

All your safe space are belong to TrumpI assume the Archive option links you directly to the eshop to redownload a game if you select the games icon on the home menu?
Because if not, then what's the point of having an icon? :v
So that it doesn't lose its spot on the menu, thus you don't have to keep reorganizing your game list every time you download/delete games? *shrug*
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order. But you can't even organize it? It displays in order of most recently played.
Just a heads up, the link is a third person tweet to a Nikkei article.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Devil May Cry HD Collection, mayhaps?
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Well the Street Fighter III games were never on a Nintendo console, so they are already doing that.
I was about to say Mega Man Legends 1+2, but then I remembered that 1 got a port on the Nintendo 64.
It'd still be cool, though
You can always go back. I boot up my Wii U, Wii, and even my Super Nintendo all the time despite having a Switch.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
