Yeah, Luvina's power is pretty powerful, but she's pretty reliant on it, as well. If your character can figure out the limits of her power, she can be rendered quite vulnerable.
She doesn't really have anything to back her up, if her power fails her.

Yeah. But IIRC, the CIA "denied" it officially, but it does strike me if the Syndicate used the agency as cover since the background indicates that the Americans were involved in South America.

Feel free to gloss over the details of Luvina's neurological appointment, if they aren't important. If there's nothing of note happening, you can take it as a given that she'll cooperate with most of the tests, until there's something that needs input or a response.

Pain is pain, I suppose. And it's pretty heavily driven home in the show, that they aren't devoid of emotions, they just don't heavily influence their decision-making. So I suppose, if a Contractor figures that all things are equal, they can still do what they just feel like.
