JAFAAC. No context to anyone unfamiliar with the work. Don't know the head was in space, not even sure it's frozen (it could be a crystal). Thumbs down.
Unfortunately the quality isn't very good and it's so close up on the character that it's not all that clear that he's in space.
It's also on Photobucket, which can be squirrely with images.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI agree with Discar. It's not illustrative, and I find it ugly.
Here's◊ an alternative suggestion.
Looks more like someone encased in an iceteroid.
Check out my fanfiction!Agreed, that does look a bit too...manufactured, for lack of a better word. If he just had icicles and a layer of frost, that would work.
It's too bad the dead astronaut from Gravity has a much more serious issue◊, he looks pretty frozen.
Yeah, I think Adept's picture suggestion would be better myself. The Gravity picture...yeah, too grisly.
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."I somehow also thought of the Magic School Bus example as well. I guess it's been too long since I've watched that show since I had forgotten if the image was any good.
A farther out shot that clearly shows the spacesuit may be better, but that's a bit too hard to tell.
I was thinking about Austin Powers when the various things get spaced and frozen but I can't find a screenshot.
Or Macross where they port an entire island and surrounding water to space and it freezes, can't find a good shot of it ><.

Can anyone get a pic of Star lord/Peter from Guardians of the Galaxy where he's in space holding his breath? I remember frost forming on him
I actually wanted to find a picture of Iron Man getting his suit frosted up while flying too high, but couldn't find the right keyword for it.
Isn't that still within the atmosphere, though?
Check out my fanfiction!Just saw this while watching Vsauce. This sequence was done by the team behind Bravest Warriors.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Don't remember that particular clip...
Anyway, it works better than the previous suggestions, although I'm not entirely sold on it.
Check out my fanfiction!14 is acceptable.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman14 works pending other suggestions.
Here's a link to the video at the timecode. Here, he's describing how in space without a suite, your mouth and eyes would cool significantly because of rapid moisture evaporation.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.@13: He is? I think I might have confused some of the scenes with The Avengers. Never mind then
14 works for me.
As far as I remember it, he had the same problem as aircraft do. They need defrosting systems too.
Thanks!
Check out my fanfiction!14 is kind of a non-example, because it's an accurate (if wildly exaggerated) depiction of what might happen to a body in space. I know that's not mandatory, but I think it's a big strike.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. This has been sitting in the dump for well over a month.
We may be able to find a better image than 14, but we haven't yet. So, I suggest that since 14 is good enough, we use it until and unless someone suggests a better image.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMAgreed; not the best but the best of what we've found so far.
This is gathering dust again, so I've put 14 up and tagged it. Gonna go ahead and lock up; caption discussion can take place in the repair thread.
Hmm, think we could make the page image of this page Arnold's frozen head◊?note It's a pretty notable example among people.
