As someone familar with the work I would say it doesn't work at all, reviewing the episode I would say there isn't really a single screen that would work despite her being THE example of this.

I concur. After looking at Memer's two candidates, I think the former looks like a better photo of the two (still, I did feel horrible for Mao after his loss).

Either 4.1 or 4.2 + a good caption works for me...not sure which I prefer, although the Gunpla imagery is pretty cool.
