Sorry I haven't been more attentive to this.

Questions: has anyone not posted at the temple yet?

And do I need to replace more than just Saturn's character?

I don't know what to post. At all.

Everyone's heading to the temple to grab their relics. Perhaps have Vlad and Gareth make their way there?

I have been debating this for a while, and I hope I can word this correctly.....

But the game is very little like what I was expecting, and the reason I joined it.... I honestly really do dislike low-tech settings, but was willing to try it out this time because I liked the idea of a darker one where discrimination was very much present, its one reason why I doubled down on groups that faced discrimination despite the warning of "Dust help you", I thought it would be kind of fun to play a character who AGREES with all the discrimination she gets....

Instead however, it just seems like low-tech Beacon, the thing I was not interested in, overall none of the cast is really any more harsh, or even that different from the cast of ultimate, Fine, I was still willing to try and give the game a chance, but now I am stuck playing an ass by comparison when I really intended to play into moral disonesence, She was never really comfortable for me to play in the first place, but I figured it would still be fun if it fit in wit every one else, and it might help the discomfort go away a bit....

But now, the character to act like what I expected upon joining is gone, and to compound this fact, we have been stuck on initiation for months despite several people protesting that we should not even have one in the first place because this would happen....

None of this is intended against Insano, so please don't take it against him.... I just feel that I have given the game that chance I was going too, and it never really took to it...

I wish I could convince you to stay. Hm, just as Grim was returning and we could get this thing rolling again...alright.

Even if the game did get rolling again, I am just not comfortable playing my current character in the current environment of the RP, it... it kinda was a problem I have had for quite a while...

What I tried to explain in the post, I built the character around being a product of her culture, and for dealing with things....

So I am left with a character that I am not comfortable playing, and getting minimal enjoyment out of due to.... yea...

...I see. One of the things we hoped to explore, Faunus dealing with and even accepting discrimination in their time, hasn't been touched on yet, and you don't think the other characters reflect the social environment I'd advertised when this began.

I was hoping we'd have more time after Initiation, that I could convince you to stay just a little longer to see if you can find what we both hoped would be present in this setting. Still hoping, really. With Grim on a regular schedule now, we could do this.

I... am really sorry but I am not comfortable enough playing the character to really stay any longer.

Its... really not the "Not as advertised" alone, but also "I am really not comfortable playing the character I chose, but thought potential fun could out weigh it"

If any thing I would need to do an overhaul on that end.... sorry...

Bluh, Insano convinced me to re-do my character instead of just flat out leaving.

Mostly re-doing her personality and back-story so she is less horribly uncomfortable to play, but I figured I would also change her equipment since I got new art, and well I want to do something a bit more interesting then lightning sword.

Any one fight unarmed? >.>

I am thinking on embracing the whole wolf thing.

I don't think there's anyone who mainly fights unarmed.

I'm not too sure, but I barely know most of the characters.

I hope Vasilos responding to ol' Edgar Allen Poe there was the right thing to do. I know it was intended for two characters who are most assuredly not mine, but hey - you see a giant montrosity appear with an army, and I bet you'd assume you're probably going to get caught in the crossfire too.

Note: the being at the temple is human-sized, if a bit taller than the initiates.

Make sure to establish where your characters are now that they've gotten their relics. Are they already off of the open-air temple that is the Grave of the King and back in the Emerald Forest? Or are they still there, with only four bridges that lead in and out of the lake island, witnessing the arrival of something intensely unnatural as Grimm obey something that looks like a man?
