I would but my brother hasn't bought it for his PS 4 first, and I'm not inclined to buy it for my Xbox. Looks fun, though.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Petty nitpick; it's Dragon Ball Xenoverse, not DBZ Xenoverse.
It looks great, from what I've seen. Combat looks fast, easy to learn, and each hit has that "oomph" to it. Character customization looks ridiculously extensive, and story seems like it's staying true to the classic Dragon Ball formula; always escalating, sometimes confusing, and never enough retconning. Shame my PC is weak, but I'm upgrading soon, so who knows?
It's also a little heartwarming how it doubles as a revival/love letter to Dragon Ball Online. That had a lot of interesting ideas, so it's cool a lot of the were carried over.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018I was supposed to get the game last week but Gamestop's being a butt and said my copy still isn't anywhere near where I live.
Fortunately, a friend of mine did get their copy and man, it's even better than the Demos. It feels so great and reminds me of the games of my childhood.

Gavan, Let's get jiggy!God the lighting is just terrible, I mean holy crap it burns my eyes at times.
Turn down your gamma?
Not having more than a single slot until you beat the game is annoying. It kinda forces you to do that, and being forced to do something in a game that involves customization and the like is a negative. Plus, I don't really know which one would be the better one for that first playthrough◊...
Whichever one goes best with Ghost Nappa is best.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/They@Erico: That is a bit silly. The character customization has a lot going on, and that sort of limits the creatives, who both want their own character and Brian.
So... the whole reason Trunks is paying his debt to society is because the pink time goddess just wanted a friend. OK, then.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018I found a Plot Hole.
Time Patrol Trunks starts to disappear when the Androids killed him. Shouldn't he also have experienced this in the what if where Goku (in Vegeta's body) is killed by the Ginyu Squad?
I'm probably not the first person to say this but I'm so annoyed that the Beam-O-War thing is gone, and the Pummel Duels >_< I had fun doing those clash things in Ultimate Tenkaichi.

That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.When I saw the Grumps play it, it amused me a little when they called it Deviant Art the Game. Some of the characters in the online lobby did look a little like Original the Character Doughnut Steels.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefAnother plot hole: how did Trunks get his hands on the Dragon Balls? This is the ruined future, the one where the Androids killed everyone, including Piccolo and by extension the Dragon Balls.
Maybe he got them from an earlier time?
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.XD, I watched that and so far I am loving all the usernames people have come up with!
From Dragon Ball Z Abridged references, to Dragonzball P, even just different ways to say cold for Frieza's species, it's all great!
The NP Cs have some pretty ridiculous names as well. I'm almost tempted to buy this game just for all the crazy characters I'd encounter!

Even with these awkward wings, dyed with images that seem to stay. I'm sure we can fly, on my love! 3DS Friend Code: 2809-9138-8756Percel is the hero we deserve.
Also, if anyone is having trouble getting the damn Z soul for Vegeta, try using the Goku with "I'm a Saiyan raised on Earth" . I did the mission with my Ca C about 30 times, got nothing, tried it with Goku once and got it.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyI'm interested in getting this game, if only because I'm REALLY intrigued by being able to make Frieza and Majin characters. I haven't played a DBZ game in a while though. Is this worth the $60? I know about the Critical Dissonance, but should I wit for a price drop?
Thunder, Thunder, Thunder...It's got a cool story, a nice combat system and a ton of customization. The only thing iffy at the moment are the servers, but luckily Dimps is working hard on fixing that problem at the moment.
Gavan, Let's get jiggy!Okay, been playing a bit and finished the saiyan saga. Made a frieza character named Hothleon. I'm not sure if I'm really getting the hang of the system though. Most of my ki attacks miss, and I have a hard time defending, though I guess I need to get used to the controls and where block is. I might just have to remap them.
One thing, I have a skill called After Image which I assume teleports me when I'm getting attacked, but I haven never landed it. I guess I shouldn't use it for melee attacks and only for big slow beam attacks.
Thunder, Thunder, Thunder...
I might be misinterpreting your post, but it sounds like you're trying to use After Image as an attack. As far as I'm aware, it's an evasive skill and helps interrupt enemy combos, but you still have to do your own attacking. There is a skill that teleports you behind an opponent to strike them automatically, but I don't know what it's called.
I think it might just be a normal Flash Step that you hit a button during when you're blocking or getting hit.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I know it's not an attack, and I finally figured out the timing to get it to work, but for some reason it doesn't seem to function the right way when it comes to projectiles. If I use it to counter a melee attack, I'll teleport right behind the opponent, but if I use it against a projectile I don't, I just reappear in the same spot and get hit again. Is there more to it I don't know? Regrdless, I'm finally getting some use out of it.
I'm getting better overall, and I'm figuring out how some of the other mechanics work. This games feels both oddly loose and tight at the same time. Characters move and attack very precisely, but because of the near absolute 3D space a lot of wonky stuff can still happen. I still need to get used to blocking and doing normal dodging.
Quick question, but what are the most useful stats to level up? I've been keeping my character pretty balanced.
Thunder, Thunder, Thunder...Xenoverse has shipped 1.5 million copies since it's release. I don't know if that's good or on par with previous Dragonball Z games, but since they made an announcement, I assume it is and the game exceeded sales expectations.
The Dragonball GT DLC is out now as well.
Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierIt was running pretty well until I unlocked the multiplayer lobby and everybody's custom characters started showing up and popping in, even in the single player lobby.
Kinda wish there was an option to turn that off. Seems like a dick move.
So, this game just came out. Apparently it's a very ambitious title, involving stuff like alternate timelines, character customization, fully 3D battles, some kind of online hub world, and so on. Also, apparently it's pretty good.
Anyone willing to give their takes on it?
