You have 1.3 here somewhat larger and in colour.
I don't like 1.1. It seems rather reasonable within the context. It's just a pragmatic lesson rather than an aesop, and at most it would be a Fantastic Aesop.

I was browsing through the web comics examples, and found these two: [1][2] For either strip, I'd use the first and last panels. 1 is a little difficult to downsize, and 2 is more to the point. I also find the poster from this to be amusing, though perhaps a little less clear: [3] Thoughts?
