Looking For Players [RPs You're Not Sure Anyone Wants You To Start]

I have two ideas pondering in my head right now. They won't come to fruition for a long time, since I don't have enough leisure time as of now, but I want to ask. Would anybody be interested in:

1) Free-form original Urban Fantasy sandbox. It would be an RP where players can take part in worldbuilding, creating their own races, organizations and Eldritch Abomination. And I may have a justification for the various monsters, conflicting doomsday scenarios and general weird shenanigans. The story is somewhere a mix of player input and GM controlled.

2) A superhero RP, where players fight against the oppressive regime of supervillains called Absolute Authority. Here, the setting and lore are mostly set, but players can still contribute to the worldbuilding (and fix my contradictions). More of a GM controlled story (does not mean that players have absolutely no input).

Besides the mentioned "not enough free time" problem, they're not fully fleshed out yet, so I can't start these R Ps in the nearest time. And... I do need help in terms of G Ming.

I'd be up for the Sandbox one, personally.

Personally I'd be down for either, though I do say 1 piques my interest a little more.

I'm okay with both really.

So, I'm back after a very long absence and now I really want to run a Dungeons & Dragons RP, preferably using a modified version of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons First Edition and a homebrew setting of mine.

Not that far in reading the novels, but how's a Gun Gale Online game from Sword Art Online sound?

Although to be specific, it’s based on the Alternative Gun Gale Online LN.

While I haven’t seen the alt stuff, I be willing to give it a try.

I remember that one. Albeit, I would need help with how the guns work. But interest. I'd also like to know the character creation rules before I submit anyone. I tend to like playing unique characters.

The stats would play a role in how GGO characters can acquire certain small arms and/or melee weapons.

That's for GGO skills that are known. I know AGGO has "Rappeling" as a skill. Although if said person is proficient in it in real life, then it wouldn't be a problem.

The stats listed here is instrumental in the character build. AFAIK, there's no set stats (1-10 points to distribute) that is discussed...

This with skills will play a role in character creation aside from the usual character stats you make for GGO and RL.

Got the Interest thread up.

I feel like a Magic The Gathering RP would be cool. Freeform "You're a Planeswalker, bucko" style play would be really cool, since when everyone is so powerful, its hard to one up other people.

And the whole cycle of one-upping each other mirrors how Planeswalkers operate in canon, so there's that.

Would it involve actual deck-building or what?

Now updated to the actual Alternative Gun Gale Online-inspired RP.

I was thinking about doing a semi-lighthearted RP lightly based on the Judeo-Christian Mythos, but I don't know if anyone would be interested, or worse, offended. So, any takers, I guess?

Years ago, I tried doing a Final Fantasy game here but it failed, mainly because I was still inexperienced at the whole GM thing. I later tried again over at the Giant in the Playground boards and had a much more successful run, which was sadly interrupted when Hurricane Maria hit the island. By the time I returned the players had moved on.

So I thought, why not try on TVT again? The basic concept is an AU where ALL the FF characters co-exist, and its not bound by the game events (Aeris may live). You can play as any Race or Job from any of the games, and even invent your own Limit Breaks!

Let me know if there is any interest.

1. Are we playing as OCs or characters from the series?

2. Where do the MM Os and Kingdom Hearts Original Generation characters fit in?

1. As either.Of course existing characters won't give you the creative freedom of OCs.

2. They will be part of the setting as well.
