So, is that Scott Pilgrim-esque RP ("Not Pilgrim," if you will) going anywhere?
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.Sadly, no...><;;; Sorry to say
After I fucked Dusty Village over royally, I was wondering if anyone here would be into a Corpse Party-esque RP. Kind of like a spiritual successor, except I actually know what I'm doing this time.
Long live the New Bev.I played some HAWKEN and now I kinda wanna do a Corporate Dogfighting Mech sorta RP.
Or that Superhero RP.
Which are people more up for?
I have kind of been bouncing around the idea of a Danganronpa RP that takes place during the Despair Event, with the characters being Hopes Peak graduates that are part of the Future Foundation battling against the Super High School Level Despairs.
That's some pretty intense imagery up there. You've obtained my interest.
I have an idea for a Fantasy/Sci-fi RP called Shattered Gods.
The premise of the RP is rather basic, and concerns deities who have become mortal through a process called the Shatter, which is a state wherein the powers of the deity becomes very unstable, and the powers end up separating from the god, ending up in the physical world in the form of Fragments. Now, the quest of the deities is to find all 100 Fragments and regain their power, as they are basically just normal humans with slight supernatural abilities without the Fragments.
Creator of the Avatar Arena and its Discord server.I'd be interested in checking it out, Symey. Although you knew that already...
The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me.Hmm. Have some interest already, need to know rules/charsheet and stuff.
...ehehYou could count me in.
Who'd be up for a Star Wars RP set around episode 7 detailing a group of Rogues on a Industrial planet, trying to assemble a ship, doing odd jobs, and even facing the First Order troopers. With a emphasis on action, story, and characters, and hopefully a overarching story of multiple parts.
Will it be required to have seen the movie? The premise sure sounds interesting.
"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"You will not need to have seen the film. The story in the RP would be purely set as the players, no real big influence on the events and all that. But a basic knowledge of certain things (First order, the rise of the Neo Empire and all that) would be required. But not absolutely necessary.
Any Jedi allowed? Or droids?
They can't for the life of them understand why nobody liked being ruled by a group of manic depressive demigods - 4chanYes, it'd be a far outpost where Force users would be out of the eye of the First Order... at first of course.
I would tottaly sign up for a starwars rp!
They can't for the life of them understand why nobody liked being ruled by a group of manic depressive demigods - 4chanI'm more into the Legends continuity, but the whole "cyborg-species ex-Arkanian character who actually doesn't lose Force strength from having his flesh replaced with cybernetics because he's familiar with his mechanical parts" character in Corsairs of the Seven Suns totally drove me away from it.
The truth can oft be more misleading... I'm driven by greed, guilt, rage, and despair, but I'll never try to justify haughtiness.I was thinking of signing up for that one, but it just felt too... restrictive.
That and the whole cyborg thing.
Anyway, I think I'd be up for this one!

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.I can promise there will be restrictions, such as cybernetics users and how well they can use the force. I call it the "Vader Grievous" Measurement. The more cybernetic you are, the less capable you are of using the force.
Grievous wasn't force-sensitive to begin with.
Edit: For clarification's sake, I suppose I should explain that it wasn't "it's restrictive," as much as the restrictions that were in place vs the restrictions that weren't could seem arbitrary at times.

@Dragon 573: I know what you mean; it makes little to no sense just how far the breadth of a Force-sensitive's standard abilities is supposed to reach, and how good specializing in those techniques is supposed to make your character (and the fact that "Force Push" was an ability instead of TK in general was atrocious).
The truth can oft be more misleading... I'm driven by greed, guilt, rage, and despair, but I'll never try to justify haughtiness. In the interests of not upsetting anyone, I will neither confirm nor deny my displeasure (or lack thereof) with specific design choices made by the individual to remain unnamed.
Sorry if I seem really stuffy right now, I just don't want the person to stumble across this exchange and feel like we're bad-mouthing him/her/(insert appropriate pronoun here). That tends to end badly for all involved.

So, who's up for some D&D by way of Microlite 20 (or some variant thereof, like Microlite 74)?
Also, I could do another Old World Of Darkness RP.
