I'll still do Divinity's Children eventually, but... Once I get a story concept worked out too well, I'm really disinclined to writing it out because I already know it. Thus, wanting to instead put it through a visual medium.
So, I want to do a rather free-form roleplay, something kind of like Starline City: There's a world skeleton for everyone to work with, so they can come up with stuff themselves. So, if I make a roleplay that's a World Skeleton rather than fully formed, would anyone actually do things themselves or would I be expected to initiate everything myself?
Cause I'm really feeling a fantasy kitchen sink of a World Skeleton, and honestly- I've been wanting to run roleplays where the players go all out with their creativity. Regarding the title, it would probably be something like Unchained Fate, to reflect the fact anything goes.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."@Kkutwar This may be what I'm looking for. Great!
I got a worldbuilding thread for that Real Robot RP if anyone is interested.
Hardcore gallows humor fantasy Paranoia inspired starring things that skitter in the nights - be they goblins, ghouls, ratmen and others of such sorts.
Interest?
I'm down to clown with that.
Yes, please!
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertDepends on how this will be developed, but sounds quite interesting.
x4: Potential interest.
I had an idea for a military grand strategy role-play set during the Cold War (at least at first), beginning in 1950 and ending in 2025 (as the players have the potential to create an Alternate History timeline through their actions). The RP is called Build Up Your Army.
The RP would be turn-based and as the RP advances, so does technology and society. Players play as a nation of their choice and create an individual character to go along with it, such as a military leader or a commander.
Each nation has an in-game armory and treasury. Players cannot use weapons or technologies in-game if said weapons, equipment, vehicles, or technologies are not in their armory. Money from the treasury can be used to purchase more weapons, vehicles, and other goodies for the nation's armory. Money is earned by making in-character posts each turn and can also be freely generated at the beginning of every turn by purchasing economic buildings and ventures for their nation as well. As the timeline advances, more equipment and technologies are added to the list of available items for purchase.
There would be ten nations available at the beginning of the game (Spring 1950 is the start date for Build Up Your Army), five capitalist nations and five communist nations. As the RP grows and attracts more people, more countries will be added to the roster.
Here's the opening roster for each side.
- Capitalist Nations
- United States
- Great Britain
- France
- West Germany
- South Korea
- Communist Nations
- Soviet Union
- China
- Poland
- East Germany
- North Korea
Each nation starts out with $500 in their treasury (The United States and Soviet Union get $2000 because they start off as superpowers) and some small arms for their armory at the beginning of the game.

...Interested. I once played something... vaguely... not really at all related to that idea, on the Zelda Universe forum. It was called Land wars, and though I joined in on one of the later sessions, and I would always lose early on, it was fun.
I also have an idea. A grid-turn-based game, using a homemade system. I'm not sure if something that gameplay-centered and/or untested would go onto this forum, but I wonder if anyone would care at all. Weapons would have access to multiple damage types (slash, stab, and bludgeon), but different values of strength with each one, and combat would center on using the proper damage type. Magic and ranged attacks would follow similar "Weakness Exploit-Centric" combat. I dunno. I'll take suggestions for how to improve the idea.
Fun Fact: I came up with the "Unlurking Sentinel" name because I was intending to stop being a Lurker. I don't think it worked. How about a Post Apocalyptic game about surviving everything trying to kill you ala Fallout Dust?
Hm... somehow I got into the mood of doing a warship RP, with players commanding a WWII era battleship doing various things with that. Maybe like Strike Witches where 'World War' equals 'World is attacked by aliens' anyone interested in that?
Edit: On that note, maybe a Strike Witches - Kantai Collection crossover?

"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"Well, I've never experienced either of those animes, but I'm still interested.
Cool, if a few more declare interest I'll start.
Also I just came up with another thing (sheesh, hoe many ideas I got so far - none really took off T^T maybe this time)
Pretty much a starship RP, freeform, hard-scifi, not really too combat focused (depending on what you want), players can design their own starship and play whatever they like, mercenary, soldir, pirate, minder, you name it.

"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"I'm itching for some Fallout.
and yep I'd be up for both of those.
The man of a million outdated referencesI made another RP idea. But I'll get to Fallout eventually.
I got a idea of a slice of life-ish RP that takes place in one of those conventions. Anybody interested?
Going Fast Since 1991What exactly do you mean by "one of those conventions?"
You know.. Comic-Con and E3 kind of stuff.
Going Fast Since 1991I probably shoulda guessed. Possible interest.
Actually ignore this, this was the wrong thread.

Okay, since I actually want to do this I think I'll wait for one maybe 2 more interested before doing a proper interest check. Yeah, the idea stays the same, a hard sci-fi space game where every player commandss his own ship, combat not neccssary (depending on the player), focus'll be on player interaction more than an overarching story.

"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"My idea would be a Multiversity-esque dimension hopping adventure featuring characters from any source. People could import previously made OCs, characters from their favorite media, or make a new one. Any takers?
>witty quip goes here<
Well that's good to hear. All the players would be recent graduates from top Academies as they head out to a new Solar system with customized units.
I've got a lot of Worldbuilding including Mech history and how they are labelled.
It's also a joint venture, you could be from the United Colony Space Federation stationed on Earth, or from the Jovan Empire stationed outside of the Jupiter Colony.
