The school is almost certainly going to send somebody. If Max doesn't enternote then given the class, Victoria is the most likely next pick. Half the class is told off by Jefferson for not submitting a photo, and Kate is with her familynote .
That’s the epitome of privilege right there, not considering armed nazis a threat to your life. - SilaswBut I don't think the winner was intended to leave Friday anyway. They only find out they're leaving just hours before hand??? And, by the time the flight happened, the storm would probably have already hit.
From my understanding, the only reason Max is at the gallery in the alternate timeline is because Jefferson was arrested very early in the week and the contest was presumably announced early in light of that, thus pushing the trip further into the week.
And, since Jefferson knows nothing of the storm, why would he even try to kidnap Max and photograph her if he's supposed to be leaving on a flight in a few hours? Makes no sense to me unless the Contest trip wasn't supposed to leave on Friday in the first place.
More streams are available on SE's twitch page including the current charity stream.
2 and a half hours? Anyone got a run down of the juicy stuff?
I think I'll watch it over the next few days.
Telle and Shriner both seem like fun people so far.
Edit:
Game starts:
Telle (hissing): Jefferson!
Shriner (looking at Kate): Ooh, there's the girl that goes missing [remembers that he's not supposed to give out any spoilers]
Neither voice actor has actually played the game before and they so they keep getting blown away by it.
Shriner says that he's not sure if his accent for Daniel is a French or Spanish accent.
Telle relates very much to Max: she considers herself to be very self-conscious and also is very interested in photography.
They got stuck in the bathroom for about 5 minutes because the Square Enix PR guy hadn't played the game in a while and forgot how to trigger the butterfly's arrival.
Nathan's confrontation with Chloe in the bathroom was Shriner's audition scene.
Telle actually seemed legitimately scared when Nathan pulled out his gun.
Hardest scene for Telle to record was in Episode 5 because it was so emotional. She couldn't give specifics because the stream rules were no spoilers. When recording Episode 1, Telle had difficulty making Max's observations of random objects sound natural. Shriner's hardest scene to record in Episode 1 was Nathan's introduction because it was the very first thing he recorded. He had to make sure that Nathan's desperation came through during that scene.
Telle and Shriner didn't hesitate to report Nathan to the principal. They both call out the principal's refusal to believe Max's allegations as bs.
Telle was suffering from severe depression when she was asked to audition for Max. She was convinced that she blew the audition, but one week later she got an offer. She says that getting the offer saved her life, as it gave her something to do and helped her pull through her depression.
This was Shriner's first video game role. His voice acting coach was worried that Shriner wouldn't be able to pull off the role because it was such a heavy role for an ameteur.
Done for tonight. I really recommend watching this if you have the time. Telle and Shriner are both pleasant and fun commentators who were heavily invested in their roles.

As much as I dislike the direction the game took, I do have to admit that the voice acting and emotion felt real when it needed to.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeNot to mention how much it made up for the facial animations.
The animation is one of the things that stood out to me as being, well, I don't want to say bad, but it's certainly not good. I particularly noticed it during dialogue scenes, when characters would just loop between the same mannerisms, like Max brushing her hair out of her face, and it would sometimes happen in ways that were at odds with what was being said.
Day 2: I think I'll watch up to Max's reunion with Chloe.
Shriner burst out into laughter when he heard himself as Daniel. He calls it a bad impersonation of Antonio Banderas's Puss-in-Boots.
When Shriner was recording his lines, he was shown concept art of Nathan but otherwise didn't know what Nathan looked like. He didn't know what the minor characters he voiced looked like.
When Telle was recording her lines, she was shown the game's lore bible, so she knew the game's plot in advance.
Telle's favorite character she didn't voice is Kate.
Telle loves the game's soundtrack.
Game has a nice, mood setting soundtrack.
I'd argue that the soundtrack is the best part of that game. Everything just worked together and sounded amazing.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeThe soundtrack exists on vinyl, but apparently it's very rare, only available on a promotional basis, and hellishly difficult to find anybody willing to sell a copy for less than an arm and a leg.
Right now on Discogs, there are two copies for sale. One is shipping from the U.K. and is listed at £279.00 plus shipping. The other is shipping from the U.S. and is listed at $950.00 plus shipping. I'm pretty sure these are the exact same copies that were for sale the last time I checked, like, 6 months ago.
This makes me sad because the soundtrack is awesome.

Continued:
Telle's favorite songs on the soundtrack are "Obstacles" and "Mt. Washington" the ending songs for the first two episodes respectively
Shriner's not much of a gamer, but his brothers are. Telle used to be a hardcore gamer but she stopped because she has an addictive personality. That being said, both of them play Pokemon Go.
They got stuck on the paint puzzle and I can't really blame them.
Telle ships Max/Warren because she finds Warren cute and likes how nice he is to her. However, she does find some of Warren's possessiveness towards Max creepy.
Shriner ships Nathan/Chloe.
Hardest lines for Telle to record in Episode 1 were when Max first discovered that she could rewind time. Telle's instinct was to have Max freak out, but Dontnod wanted a more subdued reaction and it was hard to find a balance between the two.
And done for today.

Paint puzzle? Which one was that?
I think they meant the bottle puzzle.
Oh, the one at the trainyard. Yeah, I'm pretty sure everyone hated that puzzle.
it wasn't a puzzle
it was wandering around in a circle for an hour wondering where that damn last bottle was only to find out that you passed it several times and the game never bothered to highlight the thing
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeNo no, I meant the one where you have to figure out how to move Victoria away from the dorm steps.
oh, that one.
yeah that is a puzzle, then.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeWas that a puzzle? I seem to remember I just let it happen and then tried to make her feel better afterward. I don't clearly remember, though.
It's as much a puzzle as anything else needing the player to use their powers to advance.

Well, yeah, I just didn't think of it that way. Like, getting inside the office in the school at night was a bit of a puzzle; sifting through the clues on the corkboard was a puzzle.
Then again, obviously I didn't solve that situation, I just assumed the paint falling on her was inevitable and you just had to choose how to react to it. I didn't realize there was a way to avoid it, so in a certain sense, I never really saw the puzzle.
wait
there is a way to avoid paint falling onto her? i just thought you had to figure out how to use time powers to get paint on to her, and then react to the situation.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeNo, you need the paint to hit Victoria.
Why would Victoria be at the art event? I assumed that Wells went with Max because Jefferson was in jail by that point so he'd be just filling in. Since Jefferson was never caught and still antagonizing Max up until Friday morning and Victoria's fate is unknown (though kind of implied dead in my opinion), there's no reason to think either left for the art event.
