The image is of Krusty the Clown smoking a cigarette. While Krusty is definitely an example, the image is basically Just A Face And A Caption without even a caption. I suggest someone make an on-stage/off-stage contrast image of Krusty.

Opening but voting Keep Until Better Image Suggested because smoking is not kid-friendly.

"I think someone else should do work." Come on. Keep until better image suggested.

I'm trying to find an image showing Krusty being this trope while on the set of his own show, but I'm not finding anything on GIS.

Okay, I'll admit, it was stupid of me to be all "I'll let someone else do it" when I made this thread. To make up for it, I've made my own image suggestion. What do you think?

I think we know what he should look like. A bitter looking clown smoking is not just a face.

^^I think that the first panel is completely supefluous. It doesn't add anything, really.

A good caption could say much more with less. Perhaps: Backstage at The Krusty the Klown Show.

The best I could find was this, but it doesn't show the "Kids Show Host" angel very much.

I think him being a clown shows enough of kid-host material to take that part as assumed, especially considering the trope title. What would be clearer would be an actual stage. Preferably with him at the side, being depraved.

[up] agreed. I couldn't find anything of that on google.

I'm good to keep the current and pair it with a good caption.

Current image is good, but I'm all for any version with him actually on stage. Maybe the shot of him dumbfounded on stage holding a cigarette right before saying "What the hell was that?" from the Poochie episode.

Like this? [1]

Or this? [2]

(and that was "Krusty Gets Kancelled", when he plays "Worker and Parasite", by the way)
