Here's what I used for most of the game, until my credits meant nothing anymore and I focused on pure Miranium storage and mining:

Don't be shy about sprinkling what remaining Research probes you have from that- You'll be racking in plenty of Miranium regardless, may as well focus on squeezing out credits after that.

I sure said that!

Phew.

Finally racking up reward tickets. I'll be able to buy the rest of the materials for more Evasion augments soon enough.

I was told I needed to get my Ares 90 up to 600 evasion if I re-call.

It'd be nice if I could do the same for some of my other Skells, but I suppose that's not to likely. It's taking a long time just to get the stuff for myself (though I might spread them out a bit if possible)

I was also told I needed some Appendage breaking augments for Telethia the Endbringer, but what else would you guys recommend?

So I've decided to unlock another of my A Ms on a whim. And I'm tasked to get some sap for Prof. B. These silly assassins come to inquire what I'm doing and acting all tough.

Now, I've been grinding Qumoevas in one spot, so my main three are level 50 now. Long story short, I walked all over them.

Literally. With my Skell. No weapons.

Professor B's sidequest chain is very fun.

So out of nowhere, I found a Normal mission (normal missions are the missions you find in the city from the inhabitants, and not the ones you get from the board right?)

It's an Orphean mission called The Fated Choice. I genuinely didn't know there were any left at this point. I thought I finished them all. Hell, right now there are just a few billboard missions left for me to do, alongside The Blood Lobster (only 42 of 99).

plus I'm still looking for some advice to these questions here.

The Fated Choice is the one where you have to defeat Telethia, I think.

Or, well, you don't have to, but the mission has a better ending if you do.

Well shit.

I still not even ready to fight him outside of a mission yet.

Nobody told me I had to fight him in another one.

Edit: Wait! That means I have to beat it twice! Once for this mission, and once to actually complete that area since you're required to defeat it outside a mission for it to count.

Shit.....again.

[up] I've been reading into it and it looks like you don't have to dunk on Telethia completely. It'll be counted as a win if you chip off 5% of its HP.

[up] Actually, that's a separate case.

For The Nopon Heir, you fight the Telethia when it's engaged and high up in the air, but you only need to take down a small fraction of its health. It doesn't use all of its abilities. For A Fateful Choice and the Telethia hex, you really do have to fight the Telethia all the way through, though at least for A Fateful Choice, you can bail out.

So in short, that's two standard fights with the Telethia, one other abridged. Don't fret if you already planned to fight the Telethia anyway, it just means you have to fight it twice with the same strategy. It's not like you use up limited resources on each try.

Good to hear. I almost have max tickets. I've been working on getting enough materials as well in order to cut down the number of tickets I need at least a little as well.

I decided to try and get some Telethia materials now and then. Those craftable equips have been sitting untouched for far too long.

For reference, the Agasura Cannon on the Ares 90 can easily knock off the 5% required for the Nopon Heir with minimal direct investment.

But yeah, Otherwise you're gonna have a bad time.

Alright. I almost have the max amount of tickets. I've collected enough materials that I can get quite a few more evasion augments.

After that, I get some Appendage smashing stuff (I'll go for the highest level so I just need to know how much) and then maybe some Ultrafauna slaying gear if I can.

If there isn't anything else I'll need, I'll go after Telethia the Endbringer.

So, any extra advice? Since I also got a quest that requires me to take him on (so I gotta fight him twice) anything that'd increase my chances would be nice.

You using a full Ares fleet? You should bring Yelv and Alexa along, since they have access to Synchrony, which makes their Skells slightly better. I'd also bring L or Phog along, as they use debuff soul voices. Change your own to fully utilize the Ares' arts. Other than that, it's all up to your own tactics.

No.

I only have one Ares.

My other two Level 60 Skells are a Lailah Queen and a Amadius Hades.

The last one is a normal Level 50.

....Do I need more Ares 90 Skells to pull this off?

Because if so, then MOTHERFUCKER!!!!

Pardon my french.

You can do it with a single Ares, but don't expect your teammates to last long.

Heh.

Well, I do have a lot of those healing items.

Well, I guess I can make a few more. I should have enough Reward Tickets. I might even have most of the right materials as well.

Yelv is in the Level 50 Skell, so I could give it to him I guess.

You probably shouldn't bother using those healing items since the Telethia will just annihilate your buddies with little to no effort.

...choices eh?

I mean, they're pretty dumb, postgame the only real use is to throw out Soul Voices and distracting the enemies.

I dunno, you strap strong enough weapons onto even an NPC Skell and they'll contribute some.

I sure said that!
