I just realized the composer of the game is the same person who composed Kill la Kill's soundtrack. No wonder why I liked it so much.
So, in a fit of what I can only assume is insanity, I decided to try farming for a knife, to pair up with an assault rifle to support everyone everywhere.
Someone please stop me.
His style's pretty distinctive. The English-language ballads in particular are very obviously by the same composer, though I'm glad he got more of a mastery of rap in this game than in KLK- Black Tar's vocals are kinda charmingly goofy instead of distracting from the song.

I sure said that! Both halves of Black Tar have really grown on me over time.
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonCopying Irina's example, are you? You'll have no problem finding those two weapons in the field.
Right. I tried to do the one mission where you fight the Vita (I think it's a time attack mission).
I'm able to get it's health low, but then it raises a bullshit Ether Barrier that makes it invincible and I can't do anything while it just clobbers me.
I figured you're supposed to take out the link satellites and other things surrounding it, but that seems to take too long.
How am I supposed to fight it when it does that?
One Strip! One Strip!I don't bother with time attack missions.
I tried to do it because I need some Vita parts to make those two Level 60 Skells I've been aiming for, so I figured it'd be useful.
I've got over 7000 reward tickets, but I'd feel better maxing out (so I still have enough for other stuff that needs tickets later) so any other way I can get them would be extremely useful.
I don't remember him getting a barrier like that in the story, or maybe it's just that he did and I had less trouble getting around it....or maybe because I was fighting him in a Skell at the time. Who knows.
One Strip! One Strip!Just keep wailing on the global nemesis. Be patient.
I believe that barrier was in the story too, and likewise, you were to destroy the satellites in the arena to disable it. Though if you have reflection gear, it just means you can't hit him (as opposed to being bounced back your way).

Important note: He spawns several satellites, but only one of them gives him the barrier. The others just sort of sit there. I think they attack you but I don't recall them doing much.
But waiting for Telethia and then popping it for tickets, and doing squad missions in the meantime, is lots faster and easier.
Alright. I guess I gotta do that then.
The thing is, I got nothing else to do in the meantime.
I guess I can take care of the other Tyrants I haven't killed, and work on the Blood Lobster quest.
One Strip! One Strip!Double post...
So....Got my two Level 60 Skells. Combined with the Ares 90, I should be good for taking on anything.
So I decided to go up against Telethia the End Bringer to see how I'd far.....
Only barely managed to escape with my Ares in tact. I guess I still got a lot to do.
The thing is, I got tired of waiting to gather up more Reward tickets, so I just spent what I had.
I think it's gonna take time before I get enough to get the weapons and augments I need to take him on now. That's gonna be an issue.
So it's more grinding.....god. I hate grinding. I mean, it's really exhausting. I get needing to work a bit for what you need, but it really sucks in the case of stuff you can only get through reward tickets. especially since I don't want to be sitting around at the game waiting for the chance to get more. I suppose I have to be more ready for The Global Nemeses.
But yeah, Lailah Queen and Amadius(sp) Hades are in the bag.
One Strip! One Strip!I wish this game was just that little bit better to push it from being great to being amazing. Fix just a few glaring issues, and see how popular this game becomes...(being on the Wii U doesn't really help it's case either, even though I'm personally glad it is)
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonI want to say this game moved +800k units outside of digital versions, so it did pretty well all-in-all despite being in a genre that doesn't usually sell tons of units on a console that underperformed.
I sure said that!Right. I want to finish this up.
What Augments do I need to take on the final tyrants?
I'm talking Ruler of Fates and any other dudes who are left. I might give you a list of who I want to take care of later on.
One Strip! One Strip! If you have an Ares 90, I'd go with 120 ether resistance (needs 4 ether resistance augments) and 600 evasion (a lot of evasion drive and frame evasion augments) just to survive.
Ok.
What about my other two Level 60's (Lailah Queen and Amdusias Hades)?
What would be good augments for them?
One Strip! One Strip!Double post:
You do actually get Reward tickets for Fighting Yddgralith Zero and Telethia Prime....right?
Or do you actually have to BEAT them?
One Strip! One Strip!Break the limbs, cash in the drops from it. Defeating the boss is actually counterproductive for ticket grinding.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Well, not counterproductive for whomever kills it, just nonproductive.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Oh. Good.
I broke quite a few limbs recently on that bastard.
Yeah, I'd have crippled him if I could.
....You know, counterproductive as it may be, I do want to try flat out killing both of them at least once.
Just to say I did you know. I figure you gotta kill them at least once.
One Strip! One Strip! It's counterproductive because you can't grind more tickets off of it if it's dead.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! And now I'm trying to remember:
How many times can you challenge them in the time they are available?
One Strip! One Strip!
I'm in the same boat. I've beaten the final boss and I've got the Ares to work towards getting so I can mop up the late game missions.
For me it's partly because of a lack of motivation and partly because playing my Wii U is very inconvenient right now because of the setup I have at home. Meaning I can only play it during the day, and I tend to do the bulk of my study during daylight hours so...
