I've heard insider rumblings on Neo GAF that a Nintendo Direct is probably imminent, what with Tokyo Game Show coming up.

The guy who leaked switch LA Noire said he heard there's a direct on wednsday. Supposedly. I haven't found the original source for that.

that's who I'm referring to. I saw it myself, and there's a thread on the Switch Reddit about it.

The Nintendo Twitter account has been unusually quiet since Friday, so it feels like there's something to it.

Actually it's 3PM PT, 6 ET

It's like they deliberately make their E3 presentations short in order to make their Directs all the more impressive.

Latter's unlikely. Pokemon news typically isn't delivered through directs unless it's the only thing being talked about.

idk... That's how the Munchlax event for Sun and Moon was revealed, through a Direct.

An announcement for a Pokemon distribution's hardly news, though.

This actually isn't that farfetched. The Switch is hot shit, now. I fully expect a flood of ports of games that could reasonably run on it, and I doubt a game that looks like an episode of South Park would be all that taxing.

Ubisoft and Nintendo are also best buddies all over again ever since their latest console turned out to not be a flop, so there's that.

Ah well, I'll catch up on it after I finish.

Yeah, I'll miss it, too, like 15 minutes before it starts, i have a class. It'll be hell to wait, especially the fact that it's a 45-minute long direct, and that's most of my commute home.
