Her brother looks nothing like those two at all, tho.
But he does have Jonouchi's cards.
her hair's way more kaiba-esque than joey. plus iirc takahashi says mai and joey are just friends. the anime just shipped it hard for some reason.
you're huge! that means you have huge guts!Don't forget Joey is a high schooler and Mai is a grown woman, so that'd be kinda screwed up (though I guess a couple years down the road once they're both adults, that age difference wouldn't be as big a deal). And how do you explain Alexis and Atticus having totally different last names and stuff?
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I meant when I first saw her design, waaaaaaayyyyy back when.
One of my old friends on IMDb once said Jaden was Joey and Mai's son.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue. So then Joey and Mai are terrible parents who use weird unspecified medical techniques to erase their son's memories of his Yandere Duel Monster Spirit lover?

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.-confused sound Tim Allen made on Home Improvement- XD
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.GX kind of inverts the Joey and Yugi roles - a Joeyesque main character with a Yugiesque best friend, sans-Yami.
The same friend also said Zane and Cyrus were Yugi and Tea's sons.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.GX takes place 10 years after the main series. The main characters of GX are well over ten (at least in their late teens). Make of that how you will.
This was 2005, when most of us were 10-13 year olds watching the only means to see Yugioh GX, the 4kids dub.
As kids, we didn't know the exact timeline difference between the original anime and GX. That's why, for example, all these "Asuka is Joey and Mai's daughter" theories were born.
As adults we know better.

What's your favorite duel against a one-shot character?
I really like Yugi's duel against Arkana.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I like Judai's duel against X from episode 72. It's a rare moment where someone played a Mill Deck, and I liked how Judai won.
I liked both the knight and the psychology guys who dueled Aki in Fortune Cup.
Yugi and Joey dueling the Paradox Brothers was really awesome. And so was Yusei's duel with that one guy where they laid out their whole decks and had to flip random cards over to use.
Really, I like any duels with an Unexpected Gameplay Change.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I LOVED the Labyrinth Duel too. I've long wondered if anyone's ever managed to pull one off in real life.
You probably could if you could get a huge tabletop maze big enough to fit cards.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I tried to make one on a big sheet of paper when I was a little kid, but I don't think it worked too well. I wasn't good at making mazes...
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I noticed that the Toei anime made the Millennium Ring's circle blood-red and not brown like I thought it was.
The Protomen enhanced my life.i always thought the toei version was gold set on wood for some reason, guess not.
you're huge! that means you have huge guts!Man, looking back at the original anime it's really surprising how much of a Story-Breaker Power a decent Burn Deck would have been. Kaiba had a really good reason for banning all Direct Damage cards from Battle City. If you knew what you were doing, You could go through all 4000 life points in short order.
Even worse when Duelist Kingdom is taken into account. You could win every duel with either 3 copies of Ookazi or 2 copies of Tremendous Fire back then. Dark Bakura demonstrated how powerful Burn effects were with his Just Desserts Trap Card.
Well, you could say the same for EVERY series. Burn doesn't happen a whole lot exactly because of that 4000 LP clause.
I mean, Yuya's Odd-Eyes has been shown to do quite a bit of work whenever it's burn effect went off effectively. Or Beast-Eyes.
Oh yeah, and that time Judai/Jaden burned Chronos/Crowler for 3000 in episode 1.
Oh yeah, and Bommer's Reactor cards which were hilariously strong in 5D's because of how much they chunked.
EDIT: Remember that time Anna had a monster out that burned for 2000 in ZeXal? Good times.

I think I may have asked this before, but when GX was first announced, if you can remember, anyone else think Alexis was supposed to be Joey and Mai's daughter? She's got Joey's hair and Mai's, erm... build.
