The Google search bar already has a dropdown for previously used terms. For such a dropdown as you are suggesting, I think you need to ask Google.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIf you want Wikipedia-style search, that's something for the new admins when they work on a native search engine as a result of the Kickstarter.
Do we have Google Custom Search (free) or Google Site Search (not free)?
The button says "Google Site Search".

I'm not sure what "would you be open to" is supposed to mean. Are you selling something?
We do plan to reinstate an internal site search engine with the overhaul; the reason we didn't have one for so long was because it was subjecting us to DoS attacks.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"No, I am not selling anything . I just found a couple other search engines (ex: swiftype and zoom website search) that offered the aforementioned feature, and wanted to know if switching engines was a possibility. That said, if an engine is being coded during the update, that would probably work best.
Is this still something that could be a potential feature in the new search bar? Also, what is the current state of the internal engine?
Added to Query Wishlist, locking.
I hope the title is pretty self-explanatory, I think a handy feature to have would be when you start typing the name of a trope/forum/thread in the search bar, it will have a drop-down menu with the pages that are matching what you are typing(I'm kinda surprised this isn't already a feature since I believe the search engine here is a Google custom search).
The only possible problem would be to get the engine to look for what is being typed in the whole title instead of just the beginning or else you would always have to type "Main/", "Quotes/", "Examples/" etc.
