It gives his headbutts lengthier super armor, what looks like projectile immunity and more hits (that V-Headbutt looks nasty), for one. His regular chain turns into an attack-throw which I think bounce-states. His throw specials do more damage.

Birdie is still black lol. People on the internet get really weird about "black" people.
But ew ew ew fat Birdie FTL. Ugh it almost ruins him for me since he looked really cool before(one of Alpha's best designs IMO) but now his character has been watered down into a donut chugging fatty. He's not even muscle-gut, just flat out beer belly and the eating thing is just...like they should've emphasized his chain more since that was such a big piece of his design. Like he's still really cool in action but the fat is just...ugh why must they turn every black dude in sf into a joke? Can't have one whose just cool without dumb gimmicks going on?
Okay dudley, alright alright I'll give you him. Plus I get we're not as bad as Mexico lol or rather, jajajajaja.
Birdie was tight...he still is gameplay wise(<3 the critical art), but not design wise. I get why since it's been years since alpha and he's out of shape probably but it's still disappointing. The chain lick doesn't even look cool anymore since now it's just a fat foodie doing it.

He looks white in the trailer, though after seeing the gameplay it's clear that it was just the game's lighting. In the same setting Dudley would probably look white too.

JP devs cannot light to save their lives ever since last gen. Idk why they're so bad at it now, it's a jarring issue across most non-handheld JP games I've played.
So I guess everyone already knows about how SFV is going to be at San Diego Comic Con?

Okay, you can explain away R. Mika, but Karin doesn't strike me as the type to dye her hair.

Somehow I'm not surprised at those two finally coming back (and incidentally, they're both the main characters I played as in Alpha).
Karin's a rich girl, so it's possible that her hair is dyed, but I don't think it's ever come up. I'm pretty sure she just has blonde hair as a reference to Ken (like how Sakura is supposed to be a counterpart to Ryu).
