Two simple questions that were born out of thinking over recent log-in problems that I had due to the server change (which I ultimately had to resolve via password reset): Is there a maximum limit on the number of characters allowed to be used for account passwords on this site? And does the password system support the use of special characters (i.e. anything on the keyboard that isn't an alphanumerical character)?

PS: The last one is because I want to make sure that I'm not making my password corruption-prone due to using non-supportable characters, though it makes me wonder why the system itself doesn't tell me that those characters aren't supported.

While I do not know about any length limits, I know the system supports special characters. Also, I think it was a database/code issue not an issue specific to your password.
