<Sigh> When claiming that a trope (especially a large one) needs repair, please provide a bit more than merely anecdotal evidence of a problem.

The title itself and the actual description refers to when a well known line isn't the ACTUAL line such as the trope namer, "Play it Again Sam!" and "Luke, I am your father!" but then you get examples (Though it seems to be on individual works pages not the trope page itself) of not lines but the characters being misremembered of doing something they never did. Such as "Timmy never did fall down that well!" "You know, Daphne was not captured nearly as often as people remember!"
