I know what I'm getting for Christmas...
It's my personal belief that the Adam West Batman was the best of all the non-animated Batmen. I'm sticking to it and nothing can deter me from it.
(I actually once met Adam West at my local Comic Con. He gave me and my sister an autograph because he liked us.)

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."For at least the first season and the movie, Batman was the best superhero spoof before The Tick.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI'll admit, I have mixed feelings about the series as a whole but I love Frank Gorshin's Riddler.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. They're releasing the series on DVD?! Quickly, Robin, to the Bat-safety deposit!
Nananananana AWESOME
Window-Cameos included?
The Go-To For Accurate, Thorough Information about Elfen Lied : http://elfen-lied.wikia.com/wiki/Elfen_Lied_WikiI love 60's Batman. I reckon Cesar Romero is the greatest live action Joker of all time.
Honestly he's really up there on my list of favorite Jokers. This series also has my favorite Riddler and Penguin.
Oh really when? Both Hamill and Ledger owe everything to Romero. We wouldn't have the clownish murderer now if it wasn't for the clownish prankster.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Of he four major bads I always thought Joker was the weakest. Frank Gorshin's Riddler was the character Joker should have been, Penguin had a raffish charm and prefigured in his plots the Penguin's reaching for respectability and Catwoman just epitomized Evil Is Sexy.
Trump delenda estI'm inclined to agree with you but Romero's Joker was still pretty great, it's just Newmar's Catwoman, Merideth's Penguin, and Gorshin's Riddler were even better.
RIP Adam West, 88.
I saw that in the news earlier on. Rest in peace, Mayor West.
RIP to the greatest of the live-action Batmen. God bless that great man.

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."I can't really agree that West was the best live-action Batman; he was certainly ideal for the version of Batman he played, though. In fact, I'd say that's true for all of the actors on this series; they may not embody the spirits of the characters as they were created, but they were ideal for the versions that they played. I always rather enjoyed Burt Ward's Robin as well, though I think it would have been better if they'd gone with a younger actor, one who actually looked like he was about 16 or so.
They're releasing the television series on DVD, completely remastered, on November 11. People will see how much Caesar Romero, Burgess Meredith and Frank Gorshin really influenced the comics.
