I don't see how what appears to be a Power Crystal relates to continuous building in real-time strategy games. Is it the trope namer? The image links to Starcraft.

That is a bad image, yeah.

3.1 works, although it's a bit on the wordy side.

Should I pull the current image?

I don't like 3.1. It's almost pure text in there.

3.2 is better, provided it won't look so crowded at wiki size, of course.

I think it looks too crowded already. There's a lot of information on that screen, and only a tiny bit is actually relevant.

How about something like this then? We see the stuffs being built while the maps and the shooting tanks indicates that the building takes place during the battle.

[up][up]Much.

It would look better if cropped evenly around the edges of the info box, though.

[up]That's just a bunch of buildings, units, and crystals. And it's a replay.

Here is the original if ya can crop it better. I was just eyeballing it with Imgur's crop tool.

A one pixel black border could work as well to make it stand out.

I can do that later if other people also think it would be a decent image. I don't think it's the best one still, but it at least does something more than the current. And it is a hard trope to illustrate in an image without text.

The info box doesn't accomplish anything that putting a caption on the current wouldn't.

Do you have a suggestion for how to illustrate the trope otherwise? We could use a different aspect, since there is a long list on the trope page. Question is, what would be best, and how to do it?

The trope is about in-mission base building, so maybe some buildings under construction?

Ideally, some buildings under construction next to a battle.

Something like 8.1, except not completely dependent on knowing Starcraft.

[up]Is 8.1 really dependant on knowing Starcraft? I thought it was quite illustrative despite not knowing where it came from until you mentioned it.

[up] Yes it is, it just looks like a generic RTS base until I knew what I was supposed to be focusing on. The fact that it's sci-fi themed isn't helping it as it makes it harder to know if it's in construction or not.

The clock is up. I've pulled the current for not being illustrative in the slightest and tagged the page; locking up.

One down...
