Bleh. Healing on PvE has become a lousy chore - it's either too easy and boring, or frustratingly difficult. On Normal and Hard I can just safely stand in places where normally I would be flanker food, shoot at bots a lot, and still win handily. On Expert the bots start to grow actual brains AI and knows to focus fire, but still manageable (though Zen and Lucio's viability drops at this difficulty due to lesser healing power). On Legendary though..at this point, the healer slot is essentially a lock-in for just Mercy solely because of rez (Focus fire from standard troopers and elite firepower delete Sound Barrier almost instantly and usually overpowers Transcendence; Nano Boost's durability bonus often gets overpowered by Bastion focus fire anyway). And Legendary is essentially a high-level Competitive match in terms of how much you have to juke and dodge around avoiding Bullet Hell in 3D. Not to mention the positioning of your teammates which determines where you can use Guardian Angel to evade enemy fire...and whether it leads to safety or death by angry omnics.
Ban Genji for hacking, Dragon Blade lasted way too long.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Dear Blizzard It's been like three months since you nerfed D.Va into the dumpster and alienated her fans; don't act like she's a hero you want to highlight or draw attention to. Also, please stop showing D.Va flying around while firing her guns and flying sideways in cinematics when you've specifically crippled her from doing so in game. She's little more than a Defense Matrix bot, don't lie to people. Thx.
Seriously, they've repeatedly thrown her under the bus and singled her out for reasons I can't fathom. Marketing obviously loves her but someone calling shots in design has a hate-on for her.
So, I need Heroes of The Storm to get those new skins?
I still need to get better loot.
It's free to play and not that hard to understand.
It's a fun game until you get good at it. Never try ranked and you will be fine
Anyone else finds it funny how Genji tried to block a punch from Diablo? As if that's going to work.
Hooray, first time D.Va is featured in a cinematic Kappa.

Uni catIf Diablo were as strong as he is in his own games, Genji and D.Va would be so screwed.
This song needs more love.Well at least it's easy to handwave that by explaining that the Nexus pretty much puts everyone on sorta equal terms, hence how a tiny slip of a girl with two pewpew guns can keep up with an Archangel of heaven.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Well I never tried Ranked.
Also I feel like I want to gtfo from Tumblr or at least unfollow anything OW there. It's like making suggestions OW should be a world of gay and it's making me uneasy because I'm straight... I'm not even sure if that fits as a safe haven for Symmetra sympathizer or those who think in grey morality anymore..
That said, done with Persona, I may have some catching up to do.

Man, doing the Nexus challenge (I never bothered in the previous one) made me realize that Lucio (Who is free to play this week) plays a lot like the former Lucio but with a reduced aura radius. It feels better that the current lucio.

Uni catI HAVE A MIGHTY NEED for that Police D.Va skin. Guess I'm installing Hot S again.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefAs always, I fucking abhor getting placed into an almost finishing game.
Is Blizzard ever going to fix this bullshit?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I don't think they're going to "fix" that anytime soon. As annoying as you might find it, it serves a clear purpose.
Plus you do get some extra EXP to compensate for being put into a fucked game.
I wouldn't even be annoyed if being forced into an almost finished game doesn't affect my win/lose ratio. It's not like the matches are even that long, would it really hurt to make it impossible to leave during the game? What the hell is even the point of joining a match and DEFEAT pops up before even I get to pick a hero? What kind of purpose does THAT serve? Oh sure yes, there are easy wins like that but chances for that are significantly lower anyway.
Kinda reminds me of Black Ops 3, where if you lose for joining an already ending/in progress game, it doesn't affect your ratio.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.if you backfill a match in QP and it ends in a loss, it won't be recorded. But if it ends in a win, it does count toward your win ratio.
Don't stop, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need-proceed, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need!I would much prefer that being true and me being an idiot.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Sometimes I do have to step away from the computer during a match. Maybe I get a phone call that I have to pay attention to, someone's at the front door, a thunderstorm got too bad to risk having my computer on, etc.
In those cases would it be more fair to force 5 people to 5 v.6 it?
Competitive ends up with 5 v 6, without backfill games, and that's fine. It should also let the remaining 5 leave without receiving a loss after a certain period of time like Dota does, instead of just waving away the additional penalty.
The point is, backfill is just a pointless exercise in futility. Turning a game around might happen on occasion... on very rare occasion... reacing to "almost never", but the absolute majority of backfills happen in hopeless unwinnable games. The matchmaking of this game is already practically tailored to cause losing streaks(win "too much" - and the game will purposefully start pairing you with braindead goldfish packs to "keep your win/loss rate at 50%"), and these backfills always being unwinnable only make it even worse.
I've done my fair share of backfill wins, but even that's unsatisfying at best. While ragequitting is obviously bad, there seems to be a pattern here - nobody ragequits a good team.

They were already pretty much 5 vs 6ing it beforehand. Chances are a backfill will not have too much if any time to do anything about that teams situation.
About fifty percent of my backfills have a noticeable effect on the outcome of whatever game I've entered. I'd say it's a useful mechanic.
Still, I'm a fan of that idea where people who leave games before the victory screen get sorted into a backfill-only queue. If mostly because it'd make them take way longer to find a game. :D
but HOW?A lot of the time people leave after the first point is captured in 2CP, Kot H and hybrid maps. In these cases it's still entirely possible to win. Happened twice just today.
Blizzard will never "fix" it, because there's nothing really to "fix."
The only downside is a small waste of time that amounts to nothing in the end. Most of those games end up being losses through no fault of yours, so I definitely don't lose any sleep over it.
Yeah. The only main of mine that I can use properly on KOTH maps is Zarya. I love Lijiang Towers, but I wish I could use Widowmaker on it.
