The latest twist reminds me of one of the filler seasons of Yugioh, where the main villain does outlandish things to get his henchmen to join him, including causing a war in a third world country.
That's twice now someone other than me compared this to a YGO villain, and both times they used Dartz while I used Don Thousand.
Vegeta: I'm back bitches!I think it's not unreasonable that OFA messed with Dabi, but that almost certainly wouldn't really affect Dabi's story. I doubt he affects anybody else.
I don't have a problem with the latest chapter, either. I got tired of seeing spoilers on Twitter sometimes, so I broke and decided to read the latest ch for myself. I'll probably be doing that until the series ends.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencySee, I don't get that. You still have to wait a week for the next chapter to "come out", you've just shifted where in the week it is.
As they said. Stops them having to worry about avoiding spoilers.
Finally got to read the new chapter. Yeah, that works. Better than the similar cases both mentioned in the thread (Dartz and Don Thousand getting Kick the Dog moments that don't really do anything to the plot) and that I thought of on my own (Aizen's case being similarly large and relevant but the "I planned your birth" Wham Line being unintelligible nonsense for at least 10 volumes before the story started to explain it). No one gets any less culpable for following advice instead of having their own idea, and the buildup for the upcoming moment when Tomura finally stops following the script is hype. I'm almost feeling the catharsis in advance.
I understand not trusting it. I also wouldn't be trusting it if last week wasn't so dedicated to reinforcing that Tomura's beliefs are still solid despite the questionability of the thoughts that originated them. But that happened, so personally, I am trusting it. My interest in the final arc in general has been low, as noted by my lack of posting here, but when we get back to examining Tomura, it never fails to reignite the passion I used to have for this.
tl;dr: Horikoshi still can cook, but only the original recipe that inspired him to make a cookbook in the first place, not the other recipes he had to come up with along the way to fill the pages of the cookbook.

Have a Quirkless AU courtesy of Twitter user @LalenRasch.
- Izuku is training in kickboxing, with Toshinori, whose All Might form is his default appearance, being a professional and Izuku's personal trainer. Izuku is also a comic book fanboy, and still is littered in scars, namely due to his Chronic Hero Syndrome causing him to jump in to defend others still, one such example being when he saved Kota from Muscular.
- Katsuki is studying to be a chef and trains with Mitsuki. He's also a lot more mellow, but can start getting angry like his canon self if he gets too annoyed.
- Shoto's scar has a different yet similar origin here, namely he was peeking on Enji and Rei having a heated argument and Rei, in a moment of anger, tried to throw the boiling kettle at Enji, but missed, hitting Shoto instead and immediately causing the two to stop fighting to tend to him. Said relationship is also described more as "intra-family problems", so it might not have been simple as abuse, and Toya is shown to still be in their lives, but more of an edgy punk rocker teen rebel.
- Ochaco still has her crush on Izuku, but suffered Can't Spit It Out, resulting in her best friend Himiko confessing first and becoming Izuku's girlfriend, though Himiko is still hinted to be bi and loves Ochaco too, so it's hinted that an OT3 is still possible.
- Himiko is perfectly sane, but a fan of gorey movies, something Izuku can't stomach watching.
- Aizawa is still a teacher and irritable, but has a penchant for throwing books at students that disrupt his class, one example shown being him chucking a book at poor Denki's face.
- A.F.O. is, of all things, the new Prime Minister of Japan.

Vegeta: I'm back bitches! That reminds me, I wonder if Deku is a fan of Spider-Man and other fictional in-universe heroes.
I think he could be one of those vintage fanboys.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. So what was the “message” from Hori? I thought they said the next four chapters starting with this one would be paired with an interview with him?
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Don’t know, I haven’t seen anything online about it since that Reddit thread. Maybe it hasn’t been translated yet?
Uh.... Care to elaborate?
I've seen some old memes that show people about to die and going " My final message: Change da world."
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. So, any thoughts on where Season 7 is going to end? Because the manga seems like it won't end for at least another 10-20 chapters, and it's currently 91 chapters past where Season 6 ended. That's too many chapters to cover in 24 episodes, it would be a stretch to cover it in 36. We know it's going to start the Final War, we saw the beginning in the trailer, but how far will it get?
I'm wondering if the best route would be for Season 7 to only be 12-13 episodes, just cover the first 34 chapters, and end Season 7 with Bakugo's death. Then cover the rest of the arc in Season 8.

Most speculation I read is guessing up to chapter 386, assuming a 20+ episode season like usual.
So, I was discussing with a friend the most recent chapters, and we noticed something by re-reading 418 and 419, which I didn't see anyone point out anywhere: while we learn in 419 Deku about losing his arms at the same moment he also realizes in-story, you can see in 418 that he loses them while stopping Tenko from re-killing his sister in the inner world. This is consistent, since he is missing the arms in all the panels after that happens, so the "spiritual damage" (as AFO calls it) directly affected his body. Meaning, Deku was already missing his arms from a week before, but both he and we, the audience, were too busy listening to Shigaraki and AFO to realize.

I don't think 386 would be a good stopping point. Or rather, it would be an okay stopping point, but 387 would be a terrible starting point for season 8, right with the building climax of the Dabi fight. After re-reading a bit, 366 might be a good place to end Season 7. That's when the villains get back up and turn the tables, and then right at the darkest moment, Deku arrives. Then season 8 can start with Deku vs Shigaraki and go from there.

Are they still fighting? Huh.
Feels like it's been over a year.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Chapters out.
Aizawa and Mic manage to break through Kurogiri, and its revealed Eri was able to convince Ectoplasm to cut off her horn to deliver it to Deku. This potentially has dire quirk side effects, but it is able to restore Deku's arms! And more of class A students also appear to aid the final battle.
We're truly in the endgame now, huh. Have some fitting music.
And Hori got a quck Astro cameo in as well.
We also get our first and probably only good view of Gashly, whose quirk really does seem to be a swarm of baby corpses. Not hard to see why he became a villain; can you imagine what a “Quirk counselor” would say about that!?
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Oh good, it looks like Momo and Kaminari might get to do something after all.
well glad this finally puts to rest complaints about how deku was doing it all on his own and how that was betraying what the series had said earlier. Glad to see most everyone is here, we are probably just gonna be missing shouto, bakugo, and ochako and even then I'm sure they will show up
RE: Manga. Yeah the App is just not working for me for some reason. I'm still at that part where AFO is about to break All Might's back.
