ETA: It may be tough to find a replacement, though. The best I can imagine is showing a kid playing with (or seeing on a screen) outdated equipment/graphics, with a caption noting when the work was released.

Trying to find a decent image of the Game Gear from Rumble In The Bronx, which the kid constantly plays even though it has no game in it.
