Om nom nom nom goes the snake.
I've gone cross-eyed.
The website for the show's gone up, revealing two big details: 1) The title is GARO: Guren no Tsuki (Crimson Moon). 2) Masakazu Katsura is the main character designer. We've also got some silhouettes for some people who are presumably major characters.
Cool. I always did think that Zetman had a Garo vibe to begin with.
Watch Symphogearkatsura's art is fire, not displeased with this at all. hopes MONACA's back, their score was awesome.

THE HYPE. I CANNOT CONTAIN IT.
Katsura is best buds with Amemiya.
Capcom should publish a new Garo game, since Keita Amemiya did character designs for the Onimusha franchise.
Watch SymphogearThere is a Garo game for the PS 2 called Ougon Kishi Garo which was... well, it could be completed in less than an hour. Here's the entire game. Doesn't look like much fun.
So, it seems that images featuring two of our main characters were handed out at Comiket, giving us our first clear look at them. What do y'all that?
Also, a bunch writer credits seem to have been added to the website.

Oh. Oh man. This staff. First, Yasuko Kobayashi and her amazing basedness will not return. And for the actual staff?
Shou Aikawa, series composer, doesn't exactly have the best of track records. He's the series composer for Chaos Dragon and we all know how that turned out. His most positive role is being the writer for The Twelve Kingdoms. He's also the writer for Urotsukidoji which I'll leave right there. Admittedly, the article only lists him as story editor but for some reason the anime encyclopedia page lists him as series composer. Maybe ANN's system forbids it to list story editors without listing a composer?
Raiko looks like a dude, I wonder if the whole "The main character is a girl" thing was changed at the last minute?
Not necessarily. I mean, yeah, the GARO for this series does seem to be a guy, but it could be a situation like Kamen Rider Hibiki or Ultraman Nexus, where our main focus is on a character who interacts with the title hero, rather than on the hero himself.
Oh, Toshiki Inoue is doing the series composition. That's a relief. I personally like Inoue's works, but the people writing the Kamen Rider pages treat him like he singlehandedly ruined KR or something and is also literally Hitler.
It's a linguistic ouroboros!
