1.1 or 1.2 both work.

Would need permission for either, right?

I'd vote for 1.1 presuming we can get permission to use it.

I've sent a permission request to the artist.

Willbyr has informed me over Skype that permission was granted, so 1.1 is up, tagged and marked, not yet potholed.
Caption or no?

I think it could use something, but I don't have any ideas right now.

I think it works without, but a funny one wouldn't be bad.

Evidently no caption; locking up.

This trope is about guys using binoculars to watch girls instead of birds. The image is technically an example (if you've seen the movie) but that's absolutely not visible from the picture (which is also blurry and hard to make out), but it just shows a guy with binoculars and no impression of what he's looking at.
This would work◊; or this one◊, although we'd have to ask permission.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!
