From now on we'll be getting more of these character arcs. Shiho's just happened to be the first.

And yeah, it was quite refreshing to see Youko in a "serious" role for once (well, as serious as she can be).

162. Nagisa then returns next chapter, but this time as a peace diplomat instead of a spy. That would be maximum trolling, but I think the series isn't going that way.

So what exactly happened in 162?

Well, the images are pretty explicit. Their play "Space Kaguya" is a giant Call-Back to Nagisa's story with the protagonists, and at the end she goes back to her planet.

Also, Sakura Discord's crew is in the audience, for some reason.

Well, high-school series ending at graduation is a popular trope. It takes ~90 chapters for them to rise up one year. If we follow that, then graduation will be around chapter 180. Max 200 if they stretch it out.

So yeah, sad as it is, we only has less than one year until Jitsu wa ends.

Korean 163. So yeah, Aizawa is still on Earth. The other one, that is. Akane's not happy.

Chapter 128 is up. Kuromine has a new name, Coffee-Mine!

Please tell me the series never tries to make me take this pairing seriously.

No, scratch that, please tell me the series was just joking and this pairing never becomes a thing, even as a joke.

Of course it doesn't. We're talking about freaking Shima. If anything, he's the only character who managed to make Shiho angry, which is a feat in itself.

Now that I think of it, that part of the plot has been left hanging for a while, now… There was chapter 137, and no mention of it since then…

Well almost every character has had their own arc by now (according to the raws) except maybe Shima, I'm guessing we'll deal with his and Shiho's situation sometime. I have no idea how they'll develop him though.

Not really, we see hints of Akane's past but it never delved deep enough for it to be her own arc. Karen also hasn't been prominent at all recently.

There's also Shirou (unless you count him with Shiho).

That's why I said "almost" not everyone. I could see Akane getting one, but I'm not entirely sure about Karen. And I doubt there's much need for Shirou since Shiho gets most of the focus and has more story to tell.

Karen has never been that prominent though, even during her introduction.

Exactly. if she gets a focus it'll probably only be for like a chapter or 2 and probably mostly for comedy.

Any back story for Karen will probably be in an Akane arc honestly.

Shirou does have some story to tell though. Being the "secondary" personality in a body can't go without some issues.

Raw 163… Hum… I don't quite get it… apparently everything Nagibox told about her grim-dark future was bullshit, and she actually did succeed? But she needed to tell that to her past self and to Asahi, for some reason…? Weird…

A 22-page chapter, that's unusual.

Jitsu wa did it again. It actually did it again but it went the extra mile. It built a serious plot thread for so so very long but then reveals that it was all bullshit. Well that isn't fair, since even if Nagibox did lie, it looks like it was for serious reasons. even still...

This damn manga.

We can guess that it might have something to do with events that might lead to Youko's reveal. Maybe it's "extra fuel" that just makes his drive to help strange creatures live normal lives burn even brighter?

Yeah, it's not quite the same as the previous times. There's no silly joke or misunderstanding here. But still… I would get going to the past to fix the future, but going back in time to motivate your past self and make sure your good future does happen…? Now that's unusual.

…Which makes me wonder if Nagibox is gonna become a regular cast member, now. Besides, I wouldn't be surprised if she had some more secrets up her sleeve. There's still this thing with Asahi not marrying Youko in the future, and she didn't say that was a lie (Asahi doesn't know either).

We're probably not quite done with this story arc yet…

Chapter 129: Magical Akalyn: episode 3. That's all there's to say folk.

I love how Shiro shout bubble slowly fades out before he is eviscerated.

Been a while since last Akari chapter. Her chapters are almost always the funniest.

And after reading some comments...examine closely the costume's head when she said "If you can't find one, then raise some". Some hidden Nightmare Fuel there.

Okay, that was just cruel. Poor Akalyn.
