I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Going twice!
Not right away, not right awayGoing three times!
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Is there a better version?
Check out my fanfiction!I used a screenshot from the page the trope page linked to. The original walmart page seems to have disappeared.
If you want something with more visual interest, here's a resized crop that includes the picture of the product:
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.
That's better. Very nice.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. That's perfect.
Reaction Image RepositoryI think it's very busy, and still rather blurry.
Check out my fanfiction!I prefer the picture in the first post.
That said, I find it pretty weak. What's the joke here, that you're buying a book that opposes capitalism? Because most non-capitalist systems also have a sense of property ownership. So how exactly is that "sticking it" to anything?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Aye, the source is rather low quality. I did a search for "destroy capitalism" on Google Shopping. That yields his results. I took a screenshot. I'd upload it, but I'm on my phone. I'll upload later unless someone beats me to it.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. No, Banksy is a graffiti artist. One of his pieces was anti-capitalism. He licensed that piece to be sold as an art print, with prices ranging from $50 to upwards of $800 depending on the size.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.So that's not so much "the man sticking it", but rather Banksy being a hypocrite or a sellout, no?
Plus I suspect that most readers haven't heard of this Banksy guy. There's plenty of freelance artists selling T-shirts over the internet, after all.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! It's a business/sales website using an anti-market slogan as a selling point. So yeah it works.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanBump; any other thoughts?
Assuming that the original page is lost, the crop in 8 with the advertisement visible looks to me to be the better one.
It occurs to me that the original print is also an example: [1]◊ Possibly cropped to the right?

Not right away, not right awayThe text is very small, so even a tight crop would make it hard to make out. Can perhaps be mentioned in the caption. I think it illustrates the trope better if it works.
Check out my fanfiction!Ok that one is awesome.
That was more readable than I expected.
Check out my fanfiction!@20 is good but I am not convinced it's better than the OP suggestion.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOp is just not readable at wiki size.
The important parts are readable. That's why I am still supporting it.
