Power Rangers Centennial Brigade RP

Matthew arrived shortly after Caidan did, noting that Caidan attacked High-Fly, who was getting ready to fire something at the school. Caidan's attack sent the creature flying backward, and Matthew came running over, the Silver Ranger looking at the monster as it got back up.

High-Fly chortled, "Okay little boys, if you wanna play, High-Fly'll play a game of toss the ranger!"

With that, the Monster charged in against the two Rangers, Matthew managing to block two of its punching attacks and then delivering a stinging counterblow sending it backward...which it responded to by shooting red electricity off of its antennae at both Rangers.

Matthew jumped and moved to the side to dodge.

She successfully defended against Skirmash's onslaught, resulting in the Officer cringing and then shouting, "You may have defended against that attack, but lets see you handle this one!" The energy on the sword seemed to change nature.

With that, he started to shoot lightning off his sword at Tony instead.

It looked like the maneuver was successful - the Griever took the hit for Beck, and most alarmingly, rather than simply result in it becoming nonoperational, the whole thing was basically obliterated by the attack. It was clear Brawlus was strong, just going by that.

"Once I recharge, you're fish in a barrel, Ranger!"

It looked like Alex handled the rest of the Grievers, making this a fight between DRA Officers and the Rangers again.

"Easily enou-" Tony began, before the lightning blast pushed her back a couple feet. She rocked a bit on her feet, temporarily destabilized by the force of the attack.

That was a new sword alright. That was not like last time.

Caidan spun out of the way, and combined his daggers into their revolver form. He took a shot at the monster, before switching back to daggers.

Alex smirked under his helmet and took a second to look around. Only more powerful monsters remained and the other rangers seemed to be handling it, so he just picked one randomly and charged towards Brawlus.

He again took aim and fired at the monster in front of him with his claws, attempting to get a hit in before it could recharge.

DRA

Xenar chuckled as he watched Skirmash's ongoing battle. "Oh this is great. Comic gold." The mercenary turned and gave a flippant bow to the other officers. "If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go watch this in person." Without waiting for a response he disappeared in his own flash of green lighting

Once he arrived on the battlefield Xen sat on a convient piece of rubble and settled in to enjoy the show. "So Skirmash, how would you say this fight is going for you?!" He called out to be heard over the fighting.

Beck shoved her polearm into the concrete, using the leverage to pull herself back onto land.

DRA

Sayraq looked utterly displeased, but did nothing to stop Xenar from doing what he set out to do. He did remark after he was gone, "What a blowhard. However, I will suffer him as long as he remains useful. Warguile requires every warrior here for the Grand Conquest."

As rude as Xenar was, at least once the Earth was conquered, then they could reassign him somewhere else.

Skirmash continued his electric onslaught on the Ruby Ranger...until Xenar distracted him. "You! Why don't you go back to Scourge Tower, you...you blaring, bleating, bothersome barbarian!"

With that, Skirmash's attack stopped.

High-Fly went flying backward, sparks flying everywhere, and Matthew looked at Caidan as his weapons turned back to normal, "Lets go get 'im both at once!"

Matthew started to charge at High-Fly, who tried to send him away with one electric blast after the next. Regardless of the traces of energy seeping in and lightly burning Matthew underneath, he continued on.

It looked like Alex's attack damaged Brawlus' cannon, disabling it before he could fire it again. "My cannon! You, little human, will pay most dearly for that!"

He started running toward Alex, swinging his large claws at him, one after the other, while the attacks were heavy and strong, they were also slow.

Beck was still being held up by High-Fly's power, but it looked like the effect was now weakening, she was starting to be able to return to Earth.

"You dropped your-" Tony yelled out, launching herself directly at Skirmash, fist retracted for a punch. "Guard!"

She threw the fist forward, attracting Skirmash's chest with her gauntlets.

Caidan nodded to Matthew in confirmation. He soon zoomed in, matching the Silver rangers speed effortlessly. The duo closed in on High-Fly, and Caidan readied his daggers to come in from the right.

Matthew came in from the left, and delivered a strike with his Cruciform Sword, the blades used by the two Rangers seeming to glow bright red - in Caidan's case - and bright silver in the case of Matthew.

When both weapons hit, there were parallel explosive releases of power, and both Rangers stood forward as the monster sparked and sputtered. It croaked out, "...Flyin'...High..." And then fell down and exploded, a large explosion almost making Matthew lose his posture.

He looked over at Caidan, "We did it!"

However, even as Skirmash was likewise sent flying with Tony's new attack throwing him backward with ease, he looked at the burnt spot where the monster had exploded, and smirked, "You're all so good on foot, but lets see how you handle this!"

He seemed to retrieve a card from his sleeve and threw it at the spot, "Come forth, energies of the Card of Power! Energize the Fallen Monster to Rise Again!"

The card seemed to result in a bright purple line of energy heading up to the sky.

Matthew grabbed on to Caidan's arm, getting them away as High-Fly reformed, now around thirty stories tall, almost emerging out of the purple energy that had emerged from the card. "Flyin' Higher than Ever Before! Mighty Growin' High-Fly!"

After that was done, Skirmash shouted to the Giant Monster, "Use your beam on that school! Send them all to the stratosphere!" With that, he teleported out of the location, still clutching the place where Tony had struck him.

Beck lunged at the fly monster, attempting to hook her polearm on a wing and pull the bastard down to earth

Xenar slipped off the piece of rubble he had been seated on. "And the supposed tactical genius and master swordsman runs off with his tail between his legs again." The alien turned and regarded Tony. "Nice outfit, your moves are pretty good to. But you really should just surrender. It'll save you a lot more pain and anguish in the long run."

Tony clashed her gauntlets together, making some sparks. "Surrender isn't an option I can take."

She pointed at Xenar with one of her gauntlets.

"And It's not an option I'm giving either."

Over her Communications relays, Tony yelled at Beck: "Beck! You're not going to be able to pull that thing down by yourself. Get back down here while Alex and I call in our Zords. Ready Alex?"

Not waiting for him to respond, she tapped her morpher a few times, relaying the command to bring in her own personal zord, the Quirinazord.

Caidan let out a loud, annoyed groan. Puns really rubbed him the wrong way. He then summoned his Red Tiger Zord. "Looks like its Megazord time, guys!" He shouted out, despite the lack of need too.

"Alright, calm down there Red." Xenar replied, motioning with his hand while he did so. "This isn't a surrender. This is free advice. This invasion will get worse if you keep fighting. For you, your friends, your family and the fairly useless military of this planet."

The alien jabbed a finger at his own chest. "I am Xenar. A mercenary, my specialty is fighting power rangers. Consider this your warning."

"I could care less about what happens. Or your warning." With that taciturn statement, Tony turned around and left. Her Quirinazord had appeared, and she jumped into its cockpit.

The cockpit was near the front of the robot and it was pretty technological on the inside. Control panels and buttons littered the consoles and walls, but she kept her hands on two joysticks in the middle.

However it looked like High-Fly simply moved his wing a few times, throwing Beck back down to the Earth roughly, it looked like this was an occasion for having a Zord.

However, Thomas walked over to her and stated, "I've collected all the Data I needed to, so I will bequeath you with the Amethyst Batzord, and commence what I am brought on board for."

With that, the scientist keyed in a number into Beck's morpher even as she was on the ground, and didn't even move to help her up, instead walking off and teleporting away. It was time for the Diamond powerset, and finding out new number-sets with which to predict attacks.

Matthew, on the ground, keyed in a number into his Morpher, and called upon the Silver Allosaur-Zord, the large saurian machine emerging from a section of the Earth and stomping over quickly, releasing a fearsome roar as it did.

He sat inside the cockpit, a number of controls and pads visible inside as he controlled the Zord to face the giant-sized High-Fly.

Alex rolled out of Brawlus' way and slashed at him from the side but then decided to leave it to the others as the monster grew.

He flipped up a pannel and typed a number on his morpher. A giant blue serpent appeared and he jumped up into the cockpit.

The inside was filled with many dials and switches, mostly glowing blue, as well as a communicator system linked to other zords.

"Ready, Tony?"

He activated the command for the basilisk zord to transform and it rose up and started moving toward the ruby ranger's zord.

Brawlus pulled off and decided to return to the base as well. He just knew that Malfien was not gonna be thrilled about hearing about Power Rangers. In a flash of red lightning, he vanished from the area.

DRA

Back in the base, Skirmash looked over at Brawlus as he returned and walked over, whispering, "Am I the only one utterly infuriated by Captain Cloaksalot?"

Brawlus responded, sounded confused, "But his name is Xenar..."

Skirmash looked like he was contemplating introducing his face to his palm, "I know that, git...so, what are we gonna do about it? The Witch and Rupert like him because he apparently gets things done, not like I've ever seen any of these results." The undead samurai cupped his chin while flourishing his fan, "Wait, I have an idea..."

He started whispering to Brawlus and both were soon chuckling evilly and nodding.

Sayraq just watched - he knew this was not going to end well for either of them, and that it'd probably be painful and hilarious to watch, which while enjoyable no doubt, would run contradictory to his mission. And so regardless he would need to ensure the force remained gelled together.

This duty was challenging, but he would persevere, for the sake of his honour and his fealty to Warguile.

The Batzord and Basiliskzord floated alongside the Quirinazord as it ran along. The zord kicked off the ground, and entered it's second form. The head of the beast split open, turning into the shoulder pauldrons of the base Termezord. The rest of the body restructured itself similarly. The Batzord and Basiliskzord connected at the base of the shoulders and the body of the completed Eon Megazord crashed into the ground in front of High-Fly.

High-Fly immediately started shooting lightning bolts off of his antennae at the Eon Megazord and other assembled Zords, the monster still trying to clear the way for its mission...which, due to its increase in size, it could now accomplish with one blast of its levitator ray.

Matthew managed to move the Allosaur-Zord to protect the surroundings, the Zord's strong armor protecting it from the worst of the electric attack.

"Kh...we're gonna need to swat this fly!"

"Alright. Let's go."

Alex pulled a lever back and the basilisk's head opened wide revealing a large set of claws.

Manipulating the controls in front of him with some difficulty, he made the Eon megazord raise its arm up and slash at the now-giant monster.

DRA

Xenar reappeared in the base with a flash of lightning. "And they've made a megazord. I wonder if they'll destroy this monster like all the others? But hey, who knows? Maybe Fly-high or whatever he name is will persevere and destroy them somehow. I'm really pulling for him."

High-Fly was sent backward by the slash, quickly rebalancing and activating his anti-gravity device, "Lets see if a Mega-Zord flies easy or drops with a smack!"

He started shooting the blue beam at the Mega-Zord.

Beck looked down inside the Mega-Zord, starting to feel the same pull as before, "Dammit..." She started considering weapons to use against this ability.

Sayraq walked over to Xenar and stated rather plainly, "His name is High-Fly."

He then regarded the battle as it was occurring, it appeared that man from the government had picked quite some teenagers. They only got stronger...it was quite tempting for Sayraq, as a commander, to want to fight against these individuals.

"Xenar, I am becoming slightly of a mind to enter a battle myself. Would you object to this on any grounds?" He only said this to test something about Xenar.

They were flying? That wasn't a great development. The Eon Megazord had very little in the terms of ranged potential.

However, it had other functions.

Controlling its legs, Tony caused the booster rockets held within them (usually only used to make punches a lot stronger) to fire, sending them forward in a corkscrew.
