Arcana Data Log 7-54, Mall Incident - Pages 86-90

Empress, per the usual, has no idea what she's doing. Maybe she was irritated about somebody buying a pair of shoes she wanted or something. I don't really care. Anyway, she fights off a couple of guys but doesn't make any real progress. Some tiny cat girl and a big metal man send her flying into a fountain and so she's basically half useless. Not that she ever had a use to begin with.

Then Emperor sends me off to bring Devil, Wheel of Fortune, and Star over to the mall to help Empress, Magician, and High Priestess with their uselessness. Speaking of, Empress gets ganged up on by a bunch of the Beacon Students. They've got to be more useless than her cause they don't do all that much. Star asks if he can drive. Don't touch me.

There's more fighting, yay. Wham. Bam. One-liners. Amazing.

And the fighting continues, what a surprise. Magician manages to get a way from the spider boy, High Priestess still can't get any hits in, and Empress eats some aura or something.

A couple people get headaches, apparently. That's what I'm told anyway. It was hard to tell from up in the ship, but it happened to High Priestess and a few of the brats.

Empress trips like the idiot she is. Classic. The cat girl did it.

Then the three people I picked up get dropped off, and they crash through the ceiling. A dynamic entry sure, I used to do those all the time. It's respectable.

Then Devil decides to show off his Semblance. Apparently, it makes you feel bad. It doesn't work on me, but I'll take everybody else's word on it. It seems to work pretty well, they're all pretty much down for the count.

Well, not that much down. A couple of them just get really pissy and berserker-y. Though, a lot of them are good about it and just fall over. That one goat girl seemed to be the pissiest of them all. She goes straight at Devil. Star tries to stop her, but Devil's perfectly fine and he slams her face into the ground. By all proper reasoning, she should have been unconscious. But she gets up somehow, for no good reason, and then breaks Devil's arm. I've seen some gory stuff, I've had to baby-sit Star before, but that break looked pretty bad. If I were anyone else, I'd probably get nauseous. I didn't feel anything.

Devil tries to communicate, but she seems more like a Devil than he did. She goes up to kill him, but gets knocked out by her own teammate. I don't know how good these teams are, but that one seems pretty shit. Well, we got Devil back safe, so we didn't lose anything really.

The goat girl gets knocked out and sprays wind around. She hits a couple teammates with it. Great teamwork guys. Apparently, Devil knows some of the goggle kid's family or something.

The Fox Girl gets off her ass and realizes no one's called the cops. Good going on being attentive, kid. Magician gets cocky just 'cause he doesn't have a pain threshold. Spits out a one liner, then kicks some shrapnel.

Cat girl's got some guts. I can respect that. She asks about our mission, Empress explains. Angry McNoarms starts yelling at her, but she cares about as much as I do. Devil starts preaching about our mission, everything's fine.

Whoo, Arcana. Go team.

Aaaa. Yelling. Loud noises. I'm not sure what was on that ship either, 'cause I wasn't on that mission. It really seems like that cat girl is willing to join. Not sure what Arcana we'd give her, but I'm sure World would shit something out. Solus knows he loves his symbolism.

Guess what. More philosophy, we all love that, right. Anyway, Magician responds the way he always does: like an idiot. Star yells out for a ceasefire, using grenades as bargaining tools.

Nolimbs Johnson puts Empress in some kind of wrestling hold, but she breaks out by blinding everybody and then kind of wiggling herself out. I'm not entirely sure how she did it, but she did. Devil then provides them with a distraction: his semblance, again. Creative, I know.

Oh no, the pain. Ow, the edge. My angst. Ooh.

Compensatingforsomething Richard gets angry about it, or something, then screams some more. He pulls out his Scroll, does something, then yells some more. Everybody else is being a considerate person and wallowing in their self hatred, he just had to be like that. Though, it seemed like his yelling did something because big metal suit man started swinging his weapon around like crazy.

Then the Arcana members yell at me to bring the ship down, and I do. All aboard the Chariot train, choo choo.
