So, I started reading the The Dagger and the Coin series (finished the first book and early in the second) and am definitely enjoying it. Kind of Guilty Pleasure-y, but I like the warmth of the character interactions and tone and low key snark throughout. Also nice to read a fantasy in a more Renaissance/Baroque kind of setting (as opposed to Medieval European Fantasy).
The series definitely Needs More Love. I want to add on to it, but not sure how to approach it in terms of spoilers- specifically about Kit and the fact that Geder is a bad guy. I wonder about the latter in particular as it is pretty clear by midway through the first book, and so I'm not sure it needs spoiling.
