Ditch the current, fer sure.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanPerhaps the Series 1 cast◊ of Blake's 7?
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And even if it is broke, just ignore it and maybe it'll be sort of OK — like the environment."I swear this had another image. If not this, then a similar trope. It was a bunch o white guys standing around a spaceship on another planet in a B movie. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Is that from a separate but similar trope?
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I do, but I couldn't find it. It was a different trope.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I like 4, will need a caption to work optimally.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAgreed.
Problem with the suggestion in 4 is that it's just Monochrome Casting, nothing else; not much indication it's the future or that there's other sapients than humans. We'd need some aliens to counterbalance the all-white human cast.

Shouldn't there be aliens in there somewhere for contrast? Like this art◊ or this frame?◊
Yes, although in the first image only two faces are visible, which weakens it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAgreed, although I'm not sure how good the second will be at wiki size.
For the second one, I can't even tell what race/species those people are supposed to be.
I agree with 12, you can not really see the faces there. Which is intentional as some are actually just cardboard cutouts.
I can not find a good example of this and the examples are of no help as all seem to run on 'except this except that' kinda of tone trying to fit it into this trope.
After about three hundred clicks on Random Article (which was futile, because the thread didn't choose that image, it turns out), and a bunch of semi-random browsing through the IP Morgue forum, I found it.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Anyone have an actual example? Where a work specifically draws attention to humans, preferably in contrast to some other species, and shows us a bunch of white people? I'm sure War Hammer\Warhammer 40 K has some good examples...though the Eldar and Dwarves are white there too so maybe not...
That's why he wants you to have the money. Not so you can buy 14 Cadillacs but so you can help build up the wastes Thank you! This was the one I was looking for: [1]◊.
Not sure if I like the crop, but it works.
I believe that's Forbidden Planet, anyone confirm?
Yes◊

If we can't fit the criteria I mentioned in #9, I guess the Forbidden Planet pic is the best shot we have.
The clock's up. I'm not seeing enough consensus to swap anything in, so I've pulled the current to fix the duplicate image issue. Locking up.
Duplicate image with A New Hope. And not a terrific illustration anyway, given the many extraneous elements.
I've tried to look for a replacement with cast pictures for science-fiction series, but as it happens it's not so easy. The trope sure was present in the past, but modern sci-fi often includes a token minority or two.
The best would be a cast picture with a few aliens and all the humans white....
