I don't have a huge problem with the current. The suggestion is nice, but all the glitz around the edge is kinda distracting. Is there another with the same theme that is more simplistic?
Arguably less distracting than the background in the first, but it could be cropped, I suppose.

I have no problem with the current, and I find the objection silly, especially since it's outright defined as part of the character in the OP.

She's a Femme Fatale... the (slight) amount of fanservice in the current is more indicative of the character, honestly.

I defined it in the OP that it was something that has for a long time been part of her image. But that's changing. Look, if she was in a cleavage baring dress, as she would be in Femme Fatale mode, fine. But if she's in a catsuit i.e. not in Femme Fatale mode, it's not unreasonable to expect her to have the damn thing zipped up. The current one is a joke.

Okay, now this is starting to drift into the realm of hyperbole, and I'm starting to lean toward just creating an Image Links page from the suggestions and locking this.

The current is better.
On what grounds? I ask out of curiosity.
It's really subjective. Without knowing anything about the series, there doesn't seem to be anything objectively wrong with the current. It's a high quality image, and it conveys that she is a sexy super spy. If someone thinks the current looks better than the suggestions, then that is a valid opinion.

Okay, so the current image for Black Widow doesn't look like a superspy. It looks more like a pin up dressed up as a spy. I mean, for god's sake, cleavage. I am aware that for much of her history she's had, well, superspy cleavage, but not on a number of occasions. Including her current run.
So I think that it should be changed from the current one (top).
To this one (bottom).
Only one of them looks like a woman who could beat up Bond and make him cry. Black Widow is a total badass. She should look it.
