The trope page consists of four short one-to-two sentence paragraphs basically expressing the idea that "sometimes people put long parentheticals in their paragraphs and sometimes this annoys other people, evidently including the author of this trope page." First of all, chairs. This isn't a device used in media to achieve an effect, it's a phenomenon which can occur in specific media as an element of (arguably poor) style and/or personal preference. Second, does such a simple concept with no examples really need its own page anyway? Nor can the page be justified by inbound links - it has a whopping 14 wicks, of which 2 are redirects and another is the index it's on, and its referral count totals to 12. In short: why does this page even exist?

For your plans to go wrong, you must first have plans.

Because it is a vital definition for dealing with a common editing issue. It is here because we have to deal with it. A lot.
