It's not a particularly strong image, but it is relevant to the trope. How about a suggestion of something that would be better?

Check out my fanfiction!A very, very weak Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Hard to picture, current is not misleading, so Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Woo, Visual Pun on the name.
I don't particularly hate those, but I don't particularly like them, either. I generally don't find them clever or amusing, and in fact find them kind of lazy, especially in cases like this where I'm the one who has to do the work to read the caption and the description before I have any idea what's going on.
That said, my attitude, as I wrote above, isn't really hate — more like contempt and apathy, so I'm not particularly worked up about it. I just snort in disgust and move on. :)
Vote to keep until better image suggested, due to still considering it funny.

A suggestion...
Too much text.
Not sure that comic in general is very good at illustrating pages not relating to the artstyle, or text tropes.
Check out my fanfiction! This is at least a Language Trope and in mediums without audio it pretty much equals text. It is possible to show language in an image without using text (like speech bubbles with pictograms) but I don't think I can find one that would illustrate the trope.
Not saying the suggestion is a good one, it's just better than the current.

Well, unlike the current the text is in a speech bubble (not an outlined one) and that illustrates a Language Trope better.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanJust throwing this in here:
Whorf's illustration◊ of the difference between the English and Shawnee gestalt construction of cleaning a gun with a ramrod.
That kind of works.
Check out my fanfiction! Not down with either suggestion.
What about the "what languages even have a word for 'killed every tenth person'?" panel from Cartoon History Of The Universe? (I have the book and I could scan it in.)
The kind that would reinterpret it as killing everyone but a tenth?
Anyway, can't tell if something works without knowing what it looks like. Though I'm not too sure about it.
Check out my fanfiction!Clock is set.
Clock's up; locking with no action taken.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
Without the caption, there is no way to connect the current image to the trope. There are no words there, only a picture of a man and a Star Trek character.
