The sheet is mostly fine and accepted, except for one issue.

The Council keeps track, magically and psychically, on all elements that are currently on the planet. So, for example, if Helium dies and the new incarnation of Helium is born a week later, the Council knows that she was born. They keep a very close eye on that. They send out small squads of girls to find unaccounted for Elementals, and make sure they are under the eye of the Council. But, I suppose we could say that while they know Francium is out there somewhere, they have no idea where she is because of the nature of her abilities to hide in a host. But someone is definitely looking for her.

And now, a thermometer T-1000 villain!

  • Name: She calls herself Quicksilver. QQ for short.
  • Age: Looks 16ish.
  • Element: Mercury
  • Personality: Brash, a fan of violence, and not too concerned about things like 'morality' or 'civilian casualties,' QQ considers herself superior to humankind and therefore above all laws. She's not the brightest bulb, but she's always preferred brains over brawn. She finds hitting people to be wonderfully therapeutic, and derives great enjoyment from fighting others, especially her 'Sisters'. She's perfectly aware of other's opinions of her, and calls herself as a 'devil' to intimidate people.
  • Appearance: By default. Automatically changes back to this form when transforming to magic mode.
  • Magical Appearance: When QQ transforms, her clothes and skin seemingly melt off to reveal a body like a Barbie-doll, and her eyes, skin, and hair become metallic, reflective grey. Her outfit is actually a thin layer of mercury with glowing lines, to accomodate her liquid nature.
  • Power(s):
    • Liquid Form: In addition to producing Mercury, QQ's gynoid body is made out of the stuff. As such, she can change her body to any shape she pleases, though she can't imitate any complex machinery, like guns. This also makes her more durable, able to recover from even holes in her body, but the more damage she takes the more worn down she gets (repairing holes in your chest is kind of tiring). When untransformed, she can actually change her appearance at will, though her Sisters can still detect her, it takes a minute, and the process is incredibly noticable, with her 'melting' into a new face, clothes, and body.
    • The Melting Point: Because her element is almost water-like in its melting and boiling points, QQ can change her body temperature like a living thermometer. She can freeze parts of her body solid, useful for when she transforms herself claws or blades. She can heat herself up to burn people as well, turning red and bubbling.
    • Poison Vapor: QQ can give off small amounts of Mercury vapor. When this enters the body, usually through a cut QQ has made or by being inhaled, it can cause mild disorientation, impaired hearing and sight, and cause itching and burning. This is her most draining ability.
  • Weapon: HG - Quickshimmer - A high pressure air cannon, designed to look like a thermometer, that launches superheated globs of Mercury. QQ doesn't carry it with her, rather, she just morphs part of her body into it. This is the only projectile weapon QQ can create from her body.
  • Cybernetic Enhancements: Her eyes are enhanced to have infared and night vision.
  • Backstory: QQ is a gynoid, created for the specific purpose of being a weapon. A small group of scientists devised her for use in their terrorist plots, intending to use her shapeshifting for the purpose of infiltration. However, they greatly underestimated her proclivities for violence and wound up being killed by their own creation when Mercury manifested and gave emotions to the normally emotionless weapon. She left their hideout to do as she pleases, eventually discovering the Council and decided they all need a slap to the face. She since joined the rebel movement to fight against them.

Mercury accepted! She'll be a welcome edition to the rebel side.

Also, here is a list of villains I have some ideas and plans for. If you ever want to play a villain of any of these characters, contact me first:

  • Xenon
  • Phosphorus
  • Plutonium and Uranium
  • Krypton
  • Lead
  • Cobalt

In addition, another important notice. I have decided to say that Helium is off-limits, for story purposes. She's going to be an important boss, so I will play her. If you want spoilers, She's the leader of the rebels.

Well, in addition to being able to create gale-force winds strong enough to cut diamond, she can create and control plasma, freeze pretty much anything, and you said she has an unlimited supply of explosives at her disposal. This is all realistic and makes sense, but it just seems to have way too much potential for gamebreaking, so I think it would be best if you toned down her abilities so that she didn't have so much at her disposal, like some of the other players have done with their sheets.

Hmmmm... what if I toned down her air control from macro-scale to micro so she can only use her compressed air blades and not storm winds? I also said the plasma takes a lot of time and concentration. It's like her Spirit Bomb. Then, after that, I can tone down her explosives so she can only "homebrew" with the compressed element canisters she takes with her into battle, which would mean she has a limited supply she has to divvy out between small explosives and bigger bombs instead of just having unlimited grenades.

Would that work?

Also, a note for the future maybe. Radon is currently the only played element in the decay chain from Uranium -> Lead, both of whom are potential villains, so maybe there could be a plot point with Curie? Relationship?

  • Name: Xu(Pronounced "Shu) Lian
  • Age: Seems to be about 20
  • Element: Titanium
  • Personality: Lian is a very cheerful girl all around. Absolutely loves other people and will always do what she can to help them. She's optimistic, and always has a positive regard for those she doesn't have a reason to dislike. This makes her just a bit naive. She's outright scared of being all alone, though.
  • Appearance: Hiya!
  • Magical Appearance: Here I come!
  • Powers:
    • Titan Flesh: In her magical girl form she can withstand almost any attack that doesn't have considerable force behind it. She's easily capable of lifting objects much larger than her, and she's light as well affording her a great range of mobility and speed. She's pretty much the worlds fastest tank. However this is not to say that she cannot feel pain or be knocked unconscious.
    • Bond: Like her element Lian is capable of easily bonding with other magical girls. Temporarily strengthening them with her own powers. In return she temporarily gains an ability from the magical girl she bonded with. Though its based off the magical girl's element its not entirely the same as their powers. Its a unique situational ability. However its not always useful or even safe. This ability requires her to make contact with the other magical girl. The more intimate the contact the faster the process goes. A touch on the shoulder would take up to a minute, while a kiss would be about 5 seconds. While bonded she tires out extremely quickly regardless of whether the ability was useful or not, so a bad choice may leave her vulnerable.
  • Weapon:
    • Durandal: Durandal is a huge sword that Lian swings around with ease. Its absurdly sharp, and light. It seems to be capable of being thrown and returning to Lian like a boomerang. Its also capable of transforming into a shield with the same property. However it also changes to suit whatever ability Lian gets from another magical girl.
  • Enhancements: None.
  • Backstory: Lian first manifested in a forest in China where she had to fend for herself not knowing anything or anyone, she was eventually cornered by a tiger. At that point a young hunter boy passing through saw her and in a fit of foolish bravery decided to distract it so she could get away. It worked but the Tiger turned on the boy. Not wanting to see what would be the first friend she ever had, get mauled she awakened to her powers and drove off the tiger. From there she was adopted into the boy's family and took the name Xu Lian. It was a large family in a small crowed house but it was home to her. With her powers she became a sort of local superhero, and garnered the love of the entire village. However the day soon came that the council would find her. They wished to enlist her to fight magical threats around the world alongside other girl's like her. They weren't giving her a choice either. She was understandably bummed about leaving her family to work for the council but her family supported her and told her that she'd be able to do a lot more good out in the world than she could cooped up in their tiny village.

I'll probably have to go back and edit this later, but I'm posting it now because it's like three in the morning and I've been aching to get back into forum RP.

  • Name: Patty. It's short for "Patina", but she's not a real big fan of that.
  • Age: 19
  • Element: Copper
  • Personality: Patty is a sociable, talkative girl, with a tendency to talk faster than her brain can follow and a penchant for making fast friends. Loyal to a fault, she's always willing to lend a hand if you're ever in need, even if other people think you don't deserve it. Amiable as she is, Patty as an anti-authoritarian streak a mile wide, sometimes purposefully disobeying orders if they don't suit her and frequently questioning official Council decisions. It's not always for the sake of being contrary, and she's quick to justify her decisions when questioned. She's less than comfortable around her fellow magical girls, and prefers the company of regular humans whenever possible.
  • Appearance: A short, stocky African American girl, though that's not necessarily true considering what she is, Patty stands in at around 5'4. Her hair is dark and cut extremely short, almost bald. Her eyes are dull green in color, wide and watery with long lashes. Though generally heavy-set, she's by no means overweight, and there's plenty of muscle under that chub. She tends to dress casually, even when she probably shouldn't, all loosely fitting t-shirts and cargo pants. Also, sounds pretty much like a deeper Kimberly Brooks.
  • Magical Appearance: When it's time for business, Patty conceals herself in a cocoon of copper wiring, and emerges in a set of full Greek hoplite armor. Sans helmet of course. Her hair turns the color of her native element and lengthens considerably, stretching down to about her mid-back. Patty really wishes that wouldn't happen, because it keeps getting in her face when she's fighting and it's generally a huge pain in the ass. Her voice also takes on a distant, echoing quality, like she's being heard through a pipe.
  • Powers:
    • Conductive: When she's all magic'd up, Patty's a walking battery. Once she comes into contact with a source of electrical energy, whether it's a laptop battery or a downed power line, she can suck it up and discharge it in one form or another later on. Usually she uses it to throw down bolts of lighting all wrath of god style, but there's other uses too. She just hasn't though of them. Also, she's not too great at actually carrying charges for too long unless she's got something to dump all that energy into, so it's use it or lose it.
    • Ductile: Much as she hates to actually use it, Patty's picked up some of her native element's flexibility. She's got some control over her general body mass and exactly where that mass goes. Stretchy arms, longer legs, fists as big as soccer balls. She can't make any sophisticated shapes, and it feels gross as hell to do, but other than that it's fair game.
    • Attracts Like: Predictably enough, Patty can sense and exert her will over copper as a physical element, moving it and shaping it with a thought. It works best in small amounts, since large objects tend to take a lot more energy and concentration. Copper alloys are pretty shaky, too, and she has to put out a lot of mojo if she needs to get anything done. Mostly, she just uses it to whip wires around and help with soldering.
  • Weapon: Homewrecker- A bell metal hammer about a head taller than Patty, though in her hands it's no lighter than a baseball bat. As long as she's got a decent charge going, Patty can send a powerful current flowing through her weapon to deliver a stunning shock along with the usual "I'm smashing you with a bigass hunk of metal" shtick. Think somewhere along the lines of a cattle prod.
  • Cybernetic Enhancements: Patty doesn't have much in the way of cybernetics, just some subdermal plating to help her take more of an ass-kicking than usual and a few replacement fingers after too many training mishaps.
  • Backstory: Being a magical girl lucky enough to "wake up" a stone's throw away from HQ, it wasn't long before Patty was swept up and taken into Council custody. At first, it was like a dream. Magic powers, cool outfits, and licence to fight all the monsters she wanted? Sign her the fuck up! But after a few years of ass-kicking, electromagnetic bliss, Patty started to see that the honeymoon was finally over. The Council was starting to look more and more like a gang of old ivory tower biddies to her, and the state of affairs as far as magical girls went didn't help. There was so much more they could be doing than smacking around mystic threats and playing soldier for reasons none of them really got. While she hasn't really decided to strike out on her own just yet, she's been harboring a small kernel of sympathy for the rebel elements. In her spare time, Patty likes to dick around with throwing together little electric doohickeys and, more recently, stirring up anti-magical girl sentiments anonymously online.

Hoping that there's still a place. Also Saturn said Copper was related to Gold and Silver, so I've made that part of the character, but if the people playing Gold and Silver don't want that, I'll edit it.

  • Name: Luna Hatter
  • Age: 21
  • Element: Copper
  • Personality: In short She is mad. Called eccentric by the kindest and a maniac by the cruelest, one thing that all can agree on is that Luna has a few screws loose in her head, both in her untransformed and transformed state.

Untransformed, Luna is buzzing with energy. Way too much energy. As such, she literally has the attentiveness and short-term memory of a goldfish, and is extremely hyperactive, nearly always moving, leaving her a reputation as a kleptomaniac. Furthermore, she has insomnia and gets very little sleep. Whatever cure or pill or medicine the Council or doctors try, Luna remains unchanged. At heart however, Luna is a good person, if very naive and gullible, and rather helpful, for the three seconds that she concentrates on something, before inevitably moving on to something else.

On the other hand, Luna transformed is an entirely different person. Whereas Luna is inattentive and forgetful, her transformed self has a single-mindedness to a fault, and remembers every wrong done to her. Whereas Luna is very ditzy, her transformed self is very intelligent. Whereas Luna is helpful and naive, her transformed self is shrewd, skeptical and analytical while also looking out only for Number 1. Another distinct change between the two personalities is, while Luna untransformed is fairly ambivalent to her sisters, Luna transformed holds a massive grudge against them for always overshadowing her, and will stop at nothing to eradicate them, and all traces of their element, to the point where her life revolves around that task, and she's frequently seen as unhinged.

  • Appearance: Originally reddish-orange skinned, exposure to the air turned Luna's skin brown, as air does to normal copper, although her hair and eyes retained their reddish-orange hue. At 5' 6'' she isn't excessively tall. She would be rather pretty, if she didn't have terrible fashion sense, often wearing mismatched clothes that don't go together, often wearing whatever she can put on, and forgetting important parts of clothing.
  • 'Magical Appearance: On the other hand, when transformed, a big change occurs. Her skin goes back to it's original color, and her hair grows four feet long and turn into copper wires. Luna grows to 6' 1 and gains the figure and looks of a supermodel. Her 'armor' is simply a dress made of plated copper-alloyed metals, and is surprisingly efficient at defending Luna.
  • Power(s): Like her sisters, Luna has a wide range of powers, though her main schtick is electric powers. She can control it when it is giving power to electronics, and can shoot lightning bolts of various voltage out of her hands, while also controlling lightning. She also has an innate knowledge of electronics. Her thermal powers manifest as having thermal vision and an ability to survive any temperature, while also changing the temperature around the area of about a dozen blocks from -5oC to 35oC, although how easy it is depends on the current temperature. While she cannot heal wounds, Luna can cure any disease caused by microbes, even permanent ones like HIV/AIDS, and is immune to diseases. When she cures these diseases, they remain dormant in her, but can be released into someone if Luna wills it, although they would have to be literally kissing, or very close to another person's mouth., for her to do so. Another ability of hers is, due to copper's frequent use as an alloy, she can swap powers with another magical girl temporarily. Is also fairly resistant to acids.
  • Weapon: An electromagnetic shield that reflects attacks off of it. Also, if anyone apart from Luna touches the shield, they get electric shock. Also has several electromagnetic grenades that, while acting just like grenades, also disrupt any electrical equipment in the area.
  • Cybernetic Enhancements: Just jet propulsion on her back, albeit very enhanced ones.
  • Backstory: Luna, though having many incarnations before this, was this time incarnated in an electrical giants headquarters. Amnesiac and unknowing of her powers, she was easily captured by the guards and taken to the chairman. Intending to use her for his own purposes, he was distraught to find that she couldn't use her powers. Being rather violent, he used torture methods to try to allow her to come into her powers, gold and silver things, being very conductive and showy, his torture tools. Eventually he succeeded, but things didn't exactly turn out his way. Having unhinged Luna, and driven her crazy, her transformation freaked out and went on a rampage throughout the companies headquarters, killing nearly everyone in it, which only served to drive her more insane. Having to be taken out by the council and placed where the maniacal elemental girls go, Luna and her transformation eventually calmed down, although still remained rather crazy. Let out by the council, Luna was taken into a large old manor that was deemed excellent for Luna's eccentric tendencies.

So here's the thing. While Tricksen DID reserve Copper, it needs to be understood that that reservation was for the character sheet. I still had the right to deny the character. And as it stands, I prefer Comrade Question's Copper FAR more. She has more interesting powers, and I am also very impressed with her unique and diversified physically appearance. I'm also a little tired of crazy, mad girls used as weapons. Alsoooo, I appreciate the Archer reference in your Name.

Soooo, I'm going to accept Patty, but not Luna. Sorry, Tricksen. You're welcome to pick a different element and give it another go.

In laconic terms, this is Cyberpunk Magical girls, based on the periodic table. Every time a girl dies, she's reincarnated as someone else. Depending on how long said girl has "lived", she can better remember her past incarnations. Correct?

Name: Given the cutesy name of Nicky.
Age: Appears 17 in her normal form, becomes a mature-looking woman of perhaps 25 or so when she transforms.
Element: Nickel
Personality: Nickel is walking purity, or as close as is possible for a humanoid to get to pure pureness. Possibly one of the biggest idealists one could ever meet in their life, with all sorts of unrealistic expectations and romantic delusions about how life works. This would be bad enough by itself, but with a natural airheadedness and tendency to tunnel vision and selectively ignore things she doesn't like to acknowledge Nickel is not only incredibly naive, but stubborn about maintaining her naive ideals as well, to the point of a pathology. This manifests into borderline OCD, where things absolutely must be done a certain way to keep them 'clean' and 'pure'. She's easy to throw off kilter and fluster, and when she's upset or discomforted she's rather helpless and weak of disposition.

In spite of, and slightly because of, these traits Nicky is incredibly personable and nice, and treats her friends very well with time and dedication. She's quite the saint in her everyday, and is both tolerant and respectful of almost everyone no matter their creed or motive in life. She naturally tends to make friends very easily with her demeanor, though she doesn't shy away from fighting when the occasion calls for it.

When she transforms into a magical girl her naive nature remains, but tempered by some semblance of wisdom and maturity, which of course is necessary for battle.
Appearance: On the shorter side, standing at 5'2". Note, she also shares a certain physiological trait with Iron/Gwyn., Voice of Miyuki (pink haired girl)
Magical Appearance: Gains a few inches and stands at 5'6", Voice intensifies
Power(s): Nicky is, not only figuratively, but literally highly resistant to corrosion and corruption as her element is. This manifests in the form of a powerful regenerative capability that can rapidly fix up fairly major wounds on her body within a matter of seconds, stuff like gashes and cuts (though they still hurt). Lost limbs or damaged vitals take much longer to handle, and she'll still die if she takes enough severe damage without getting a chance to regenerate properly. Mentally her stubborn idealism actually also has a genesis in the nature of her element, she is very resistant to magical compulsion, charm, or the like. In her normal form both of these powers are still present, but in a severely reduced form.

Nicky also has a natural magnetic field within her body that spreads out within a certain radius around her. The field is naturally strong enough to affect both physical ferromagnetic objects and electronics. The poles of the field run an axis through her from side to side, meaning she attracts metal to her front and back. Electronic devices of all sorts are generally scrambled in her presence unless properly insulated.
Weapon: NI-Alloy, which is a fencing sabre that had been experimentally designed by the Council specifically for Nickel when she was reborn into her new life, and stolen away by the Rebels when Nickel became their recruit. The sword is a natural magnet itself, whose attractive/repulsive quality is changeable at the flip of a switch on the handle, allowing for a variety of tactical uses. The sword is also a magical conduit for Nickel's regenerative property, if she holds it with another Magical Girl they'll gain a fraction of her self-healing ability for the duration.
Cybernetic Enhancements: Internal cybernetics do not work for Nickel due to the power of her self-generated magnetic field. She does however, have an externalized enhancement that restrains the power of her magnetic field to be limited to her own body at a command, allowing her to walk about in society without causing mass shitty cell phone reception.
Backstory: Nickel was reborn virtually in the clutches of the Rebellion, a poor luck of the draw for the Council, as Nickel was quickly scooped up by their enemies. Nicky's disposition made her allegiances sort of first come first serve, as she adheres very strictly to Rebellion doctrine as her moral compass and guide. That said, she's still being trained, and as a result she's one of the less active members of the Rebellion, largely keeping to her ordinary life as a high schooler in the city unless called upon to fight for the cause.

  • Name: Lilith Larondo, though previously called herself Lith at the beginning and later Liliana.
  • Age: Chronically 28, biologically twenty, and physically looks twenty to twenty-four (sixteen when transformed).
  • Element: Lithium
  • Personality: Originally she was relatively uninterested in anyone as individuals, instead focused on understanding them. This however caused her heroic impulses, since her desire for knowledge meant she had to understand everything and thus didn't want people to die since it would limit what she could learn. Though, as she understood life better she started to question why the Elemental Girls existed which in turn resulted in her obsession with humans. Though she had become disillusioned to an extent about being a "magical girl", not really saying anything on the matter besides the occasional introspective or depressed moment. Thus she actively tries to be human, which in combination with her obsession of knowledge got her the name Lilith due to being the only things that really make her happy. Of note interfering with her learning is the fastest way to annoy her, and she'll find a way to learn something from just about anything. Though since becoming a mother four years ago, she's been more motherly to her sisters and even more heroic if somewhat reluctant to do so.
  • Appearance: This works perfectly for now, though her actual outfit is prone to change.
  • Magical Appearance: This also works fine for now (though with the green being silver), and its less her human body regressing, and more the transformation being unchanged from when her true/original body was the one she was using.
  • Powers: She's extremely fast and lightweight for starters, falling slower through the air and can float on water with superhuman ease. Though as a result she isn't very tough or durable. The heat conductive and flammable nature of lithium allows her to absorb heat to then expel from her body, varying from releasing heat to actual fire (colored either crimson or silver). The electrical conductiveness of lithium also enables a more limited resistance to electrical attacks, though it can't be redirected willingly. Finally, because lithium can display ferromagnetism in its gaseous form, she possesses a limited magnetic ability commonly used to cling/crawl/climb objects and right herself or pull her body with/towards magnetic objects. She can also explode pieces of her body, and overall has an increased regenerative ability so this is an actually usable application. On two final notes, she can inject lithium into someone to stabilize their moods and can absorb sources of lithium to hasten her regenerative process (also create crappy constructs if acceptable).
  • Weapon: One nameless sword made from some of her essence, it displays all her abilities to much lesser levels though she can focus her power through it to gain more versatile use of her abilities.
  • Cybernetic Enhancement: Her human body has an entirely cybernetic skeleton made partially from lithium, mainly to keep her magical essence contained within. Though spikes of varying length can pierce through her skin, through which she channels her powers. The skeleton can also be repaired by absorbing more lithium into it.
  • Backstory: Naturally manifesting on a beach, she was actually completely calm though slightly curious about her entire body being on fire. The resulting human panic attracted the attention of her sisters, and Lithium decided to join the Council's side because she figured they would be more helpful to her. Proceeding to spend the next eighteen year blissfully learning and helping, the failure to save some humans struck her deeply. Because of her immortal nature, she didn't truly grasped what morality was until that incident. Questioning why they were immortal, she spent her time fervently studying Elemental Girls and humans. After a long six months, she finally concluded they were agents of destruction and disharmony due to the mayhem focused around their very existence. She did not take this personal epiphany well, resulting in a short lived despair-motivated desire to kill her sisters that she rationalized "was for the greater good."

Somewhat violently forced to calm down and think straight, she temporarily left as she tried to sort things out. Deciding her life would be simpler if she was a human, she proceeded to hire a group of scientists to create her a real human body to control. Once her body was finished, she had the scientists force her elemental body apart to channel into the cybernetic skeleton of her human body. Awakening up confused and disorientated in her new body, it took her a bit to master her motor control. With her goal achieved, she proceeded to return to her sisters.

However, as she tried to readjust as an Elemental Girl the belief they were agents of destruction kept gnawing at her. Not sure how to deal with it, an encounter with a new family convinced her that being a mother would be the perfect counter. Though first considering actually carrying a child to term, their naturally non-reproducible nature left her uncertain if it would even work. Deciding to save that test for another time, she had a newborn girl synthesized from her human biology four years ago. Ever since then she splits her time between her daughter and her sisters.

Hmm... If the bio needs to be reworked or edited I can easily do that whenever. Though how workable is the application? Feel like it'll need changes, but it looks pretty fine to me for now so...
