I could say something about the stereotype that kids love the same old same old, especially on character types, but I also remembered that this is a PARODY of character troupes in Magical Girl animation, so Brit's character is justified IMHO.

@Scott Pilgrim 2013 She ain't no parody, as far as I'm concerned. She's definitely a threat to this show's quality as well, as it stands. I can only hope for more development of her character, going forward.
At this point, TBH wilth all of you, I'll stick to Penn Zero Part Time Hero for now - at least that show seems to know better about BS like this (and try to avoid it actively... somehow and surprisingly - knowing how Canadian that show feels - and how well known it is for Canadians to do that shit in their works far too much, hence their overall negative reception!), TBH with all of you, whether you agree with me or not.
I mean I really wanted to like this show more, but there's just so much stupid, unneeded stuff kinda holding things back from its true potential - which I know is there but just needs to be found. It's funny (enough), sure, it's action-packed (definitely), but something feels lacking in the writing for me to really care too much about it.

All I can say in the least is thank you for not dissing my thoughts and feelings on this show (despite any and all positive things I'm still able to say about it!) and what I think is the superior show on right now, in comparison (whether you agree with me or not - I don't expect anyone to at all...). However, yeah, I get where you're coming from with this perfectly and can understand that frustration. I guess I bought into the hype far too much and am regretting that now, only because I usually try to be smart about what I watch and enjoy.

The only Alpha Bitch in recent memory that has entertained me in recent memory is Trina Riffin. Not sure what it is that makes her more entertaining then characters like Brittney and DT.
And please, don't try and say that "But you're supposed to hate them" bull crap. I get that, but you can say the same about a lot of villains in series that are actually entertaining. The problem with generic Alpha Bitch character is that they're always the same, generic, annoying, cookie-cutter character type done many times already in the past.
