Disney's Star vs. the Forces of Evil

It's a "fake leak" (inspired by Gravity Falls). I made it. For science of course. I'm also flattered that many shippers are freaking out about it (I'm a shipper myself, so I know our weaknesses). It's funny because I did tag the original post with "fake" and "obviously fake", but people still fell for it (again, I'm flattered xD).

Now that Disney XD announced a Duck Tales reboot for 2017, my theory is that SVTFOE's two seasons will last until early 2017. Disney probably made some kind of deal with Daron Nefcy (don't know how it works), since ratings are promising: "Tell your story in two seasons. You guys have plenty of time to plan and write your myth arc and end the series properly, but make it last two season. We have to make room for the Ducktales reboot in 2017, remember!".

Barely 2 (4?) episodes in, and we already have people making fake finale leaks to troll the fandom.

Probably.The fact that we had a fake leak so early makes it seem like it.I don't think GF had their first fake leak till about post season 1 IIIRC(the Mc Gucket is the author "Leak").

It's simply a collage made using various screenshots taken from the actual show, with some minor edits here and there. Glad people enjoyed it.

And btw, even though I don't think the show is incredibly original or innovative (for now), I absolutely love it for some reason. I've been obsessed since the early intro-leak in August 2014 and now I'm even more crazy about it.

I don't what it is that really makes me love this show.The plots themselves have been pretty basic stuff and I don't really care for any of the side characters so far besides the Marco's parents who're just as adorkable as their(but I do look forward to seeing Jackie and Tom when they get major roles) .Though I do really love the artstyle,the humor has me laughing a lot through out the episodes,and I adore Star and Marco.They're really loveable dorks.I'm certain that the show will pick up speed after a while like Adventure Time and Gravity Falls.Though I do really enjoy now in its current state.

I just really hope that it doesn't get bogged down by long ass episode release dates.

Also,I'm surprised to see that their hasn't been much hate(if any) towards Jackie so far despite her being Marco's crush,esp. with all the fans that like Starco.I've seen a lot of people on tumblr who like her and look forward to her appearances later on in the show.

On Jackie, it might be because we haven't seen much of her to hate on her, which... is rather mature for a fast growing fandom. Huh.

I'm just used to cray-cray Die for Our Ship shipping fans who hate characters that are crushes of another character(I.e. Flash Sentry in Equestria Girls).

At most some go "Jackie knows about Marco's crush on her but thinks Marco and Star should be together".I can actually see Jackie knowing about Marco's crush on her being a thing in canon.

Honestly, I think that having a super-original premise or whatever is overrated. It's execution that makes or breaks a thing, and so far the execution has been really good.

What I don't understand is, how much of a "back to normal" spell can it be if it turns things into arms that were never arms to begin with? At least Glitter Dragon Escalation seems like more of an escalation than Moon Healing Escalation.

I wasn't sure why I don't love the show, but it's probably the reason you just stated. To me it's just another wacky Disney cartoon.

I'm all for more wacky cartoons, period, TBH - however, this one seems like it's trying to tell a more serious story than letting on. And I'd rather see that happen before more high school nonsense. That alone is the key reason I'm having a hard time liking this show, despite how good looking it is.

And yeah - this is me suffering from hype backlash.

I honestly wouldn't mind it being a little less overtly wacky, at least in terms of how the characters react to things. Thought that's probably just because I've always liked situations where characters react to extreme situation in a more understated fashion.

This is clearly one of the shows Disney is pushing sooner to fill time before the rest of the Gravity Falls season.

Sadly, I think the long gaps will be coming yet - IIRC, there are only 13 episodes in season one, and this accounts for about a third of them. (Although that can be somewhat alleviated by splitting the rest.) But on the other hand, they almost have to do this to make the frequency of repeats less painful.

Never be normal.

Finally watched all four available episodes. I think it's a great time waster and the perfect Brain Bleach.

Just a friendly reminder— the show's official premiere on Disney XD is next Monday! Star's crazy magical adventures on Earth and beyond have almost begun!

I have really high hopes for this show. Looking forward to the Monday premiere.

He probably learned sometime between the laser puppies and flying unicorn head to expect just about anything, and really a mace and battle armor is pretty mundane for Star I think.
